Let me take this off the drama board and ask here, because I'm confused about the sequence of events. First, I'm actually concerned about 2 different things: 1) should the article userfied by Salvio (and any other in a similar state) have been deleted, and, 2) when exactly were they created and sourced? Looking at the times, it appears that the Punjab stubs, such as that one created at 8:51 May 12, were created before Salvio formally enacted the community ban at 17:50 May 12. That means that those articles were not created in breach of any sanctions. Yes, they were done in breach of a pretty clearly forming consensus, but if we're talking about considering a full sitewide ban, that's a bit extreme. More importantly, though, it seems like those articles are sourced in exactly the manner that we would source sub-stubs on human settlements.
In other words, I'm seeing two things. First, I'm seeing the deletion of a bunch of articles with inherent notability and sources that verify existence being deleted out of frustration (I'm going to ask PMDrive to take a look at this also, since xe was the one who actually did the deletion). Second, I'm seeing an editor who, granted, is a huge pain, but who just might be learning, albeit painfully slowly. In other words, I'm seeing someone for whom a ban seems to be a bit extreme. I'm seeing someone who, instead, might be able to be put under very tight formal mentoring, and who could be blocked immediately for working outside of the grounds of those restrictions.
On the other hand, I went AWOL during the majority of the cleanup, so I'd like your input here. Qwyrxian ( talk) 22:05, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

The meats I have listed are viewed in similar/logical consequence here in American culture, and in readership of English Wikipedia, namely American people typically find consumption of the following meats: cat, dog, horse among various others as unusual or even immoral. I understand your need to maintain a certain level of white pride and Asian cultural-secessionism, and make an outright disconnect in these taboo meat articles relative to dog meat, which have their largest proportion of consumers in such places as China, Korea and Vietnam: whereas cat and horse meat the partiality toward the eastern/central Asians and that of non-Asians is far less. But this is nothing to do with proper presentation of white people's eating habits, or the eating habits of American's closest ally nations should be seen. The inclusion of horse meat in the See Also section constitutes a consistent American reader-observation of relevant facts and comparative study to the culture of eating these animals to which American and other "democratized" people should objectively examine, and not feel humiliated, like how the editors and Dog meat article-controllers here are doing here by omitting direct reader-access to these relevant articles for comparative examination. Hi,
I'm a bit confused by your proposed deletion of my McAndrews Estate page. The main reference is the 'History of the Town of Cortlandt', not the NY Times articles. The 'History' has been in print, available at major booksellers in NY since 1988. This is an area of historical significance that has impacted the lives of many people in this region for generations.
It would seem it's a question of scale. The subject of the article has regional, not national or international historical significance. There is just one solid published reference. If perhaps we got the local regional paper to run a half page article on it, would that then suffice? Would the cirrculation numbers of that paper then be brought into question?
I don't mean to be obnoxious, but the page has already been a catalyst for attracting people interested in this subject. This has not only accelerated the research and eduational efforts related to the topic, but inspired volunteerism, historical preservation efforts, partnership with local colleges, and local civic pride. Aren't these the kind of 'good' things Wikpedia strives to encourage? Saying that the topic is essentially 'too small' to merit inclusion seems overly black and white.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Wes

Hi,
I'm a bit confused by your proposed deletion of my McAndrews Estate page.
Thanks,
Wes

I've opened a centralized discussion there to handle a number of the different articles related to CCR. I'd like your input to see if I've broken down the articles correctly and if you think it's a reasonable solution.

Hi! This is the last call for signing on for a Wikipedia Ambassador hooded sweatshirt (in case you missed the earlier message in one of the program newsletters about it). If you would like one, please email me with your name, mailing address, and (US) sweatshirt size. We have a limited number left, so it will be first-come, first-served. (If more than one size would work for you, note that as well.)

Hi, you identified a link spam on the Jamie Wyeth article, which is a new concept for me. And, I agree it's good to remove a questionable external link. Someone can google if they want to explore the web. Just wondering so that I can be more informed going forward, how do you know if a link might be "link spam"? Thanks so much!- CaroleHenson ( talk) 02:56, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
... but he is not getting it at all. I think that there is an obsession with creating new articles here, rather than creating useful articles. - Sitush ( talk) 12:53, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
