Thanks for uploading Image:Swordswoman of Huangjiaing.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 08:55, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
The reason the revert was labeled vandalism is that the author of the edits is a banned user and the edits were done in defiance of an indefinite block. The editor is a persistent and frequent vandal, and to date has created over 35 sockpuppet accounts for the purpose of vandalism. His edits are now being reverted regardless of merit. Please examine the notice on his talk page and you'll see why the edit was reverted as vandalism. He has long since used up his assumption of good faith. dhett ( talk • contribs) 09:38, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Another editor has added the "{{

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

Category:LGBT politicians is never applied directly to an individual person; it's only a container for more specific subcategories. If you have a validly sourced reason to switch Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir's category from "lesbian" to "bisexual", that would be okay; if you are aware of enough additional articles to create Category:LGBT politicians from Iceland instead, that would be okay too. But switching her from "lesbian" to "LGBT" isn't appropriate, because the "LGBT" parent category isn't supposed to have anybody directly in it at all. Bearcat ( talk) 22:58, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:Georg Broe - The Rivals 1968.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks for uploading File:Mein Weg auf die Laufstege der Welt von Irina Pantaeva.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Hi there. You know, don't you, that we don't have something called "High School" in the UK? But notwithstanding the inappropriateness of that particular category name, including both Starkey and Woodward in such a category somewhat blurs the real reason for their premature absence from secondary school, which can be explained in a different way? Martinevans123 ( talk) 22:19, 2 December 2015 (UTC) p.s. I know Wikipedia Categories can be a thing of beauty, but I think you may have to drop this one for a while. Thanks.
*As mentioned in the reply above, I am using the names listed on the page List of dropouts. I didn't create or (re)name the category. But if the name is erroneous in the context of the UK educational system, and you furthermore feel it has unflattering connotations which are unacceptable when associated with certain article subjects/people, I recommend renaming the category, perhaps to something like "people who didn't complete secondary education [for whatever reason]".

Hello, Adrigon. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
The article Wylye (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
DAB page not needed per WP:2DABS
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.
