[1] Municipally, it is incorporated as Krasnobakovsky Municipal District. [4] It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,757.8 square kilometers (678.7 sq mi). [1] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Krasnye Baki. [1] Population: 22,524 ( 2010 Census); [2] 26,047 ( 2002 Census); [6] 27,151 ( 1989 Soviet census).
