Tagging articles

Any article related to this task force should be marked with "19thC-task-force=yes", as follows to the {{ WikiProject Novels|19thC-task-force=yes|19thC-importance=}} project banner at the top of its talk page (see the project banner instructions for more details on the exact syntax). This will automatically place it into Category:19th-century novels task force articles.

The resulting code is usually:

{{WikiProject Novels
|class=
|importance=
|19thC-task-force=yes
|19thC-importance=
}}

To-do

  • Tag articles! (see Category:19th-century novels and subcategories)
  • Recruit more members!
  • Collaborate and join the discussions. If you know things, teach! (If you don't know things, Ask.)
  • Create new articles! There are plenty of 19th-century novels and shorter prose items still unaccounted for on Wikipedia! (see Needed Articles)
  • Expand articles (or merge if appropriate). All of these stubs would welcome further care and attention.
  • Look through featured articles and lists while getting familiar with and helping with assessment of prose fiction articles, and add relevant articles to the "Articles" section below.
