Is this the primary topic (has become a famous nickname for Kier Starmer by Rishi Sunak now). No clear disambiguation here; I think deleting it would be best. GnocchiFan ( talk) 17:21, 6 September 2023 (UTC) reply

  • I'd keep it, at least for the time being. I can imagine people remembering "Coon 2: Hindsight" by the "Rise of Captain Hindsight" in its original title and thereby finding the target article through this redirect. If "Captain Hindsight" as an attack on Kier Starmer gets established, we can turn this into a disambiguation page like Tricky Dick and Slick Willy. However, I suspect this particular nickname is going to fade with the news cycle --- in fact, it already did back when Boris Johnson first tried it out in November 2020. (This in turn led to Johnson being dubbed "General Incompetence", "Captain Clueless" and "Major Disaster", none of which are still widely used, to my knowledge.) -- David Schaich Talk/ Cont 20:00, 6 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Delete - while I understand the above, there is no indication that this film is known by this particular excerpt of the title. I agree with the point about Starmer's nickname disappearing as soon as it appears, though, and wouldn't give any weight to that. -- 194.33.196.5 ( talk) 11:06, 7 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Keep - apparently a working title for the TV episode subject, and a central character in it. Political attacks don't make good redirects, it's too easy to fall afoul of WP:RECENTISM and WP:G10. Ivanvector ( Talk/ Edits) 16:49, 7 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Disambiguate. I reckon this redirect is popular enough to be a dab page, even though I'm normally more wary than most here. There's a fair few news articles that prominently mention this nickname. Nicknames aren't BLP problems or the like for mine, well we've got lists of them and other media don't feel shy of using them let alone mentioning them. Tough one though. J947 edits 20:06, 7 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Comment as a general smear, it is more that just Starmer, as it has been used before that. So, a more general target about commentary for hindsight being 20/20 for critics should be added if such an article exists, if this is disambiguated -- 67.70.25.175 ( talk) 09:50, 10 September 2023 (UTC) reply

No film in the series is set to be released in 2054. • Keep but remove the section (just IPhone 14 Pro). It's still the target that answers reader questions about what it is. Alternatively would support a redirect to iPhone#History if the feature was covered in more depth there between the 14 Pro and 15 Pro versions, but there's still a chance that 14 Pro will always cover it better. czar 22:33, 12 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Nominator comment: While there certainly is information about the dynamic island at the iPhone 14 Pro page, my perspective is that none of the three prose mentions of "dynamic island" are particularly worth the redirect's target, especially now that its a feature shared between multiple devices. Even if iPhone 14 Pro covers the feature better than iPhone#History does, I think it's better to aim towards a more general location that has links to multiple suitable devices, instead of just the one it debuted on. Utopes ( talk / cont) 22:44, 12 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Keep. WP:BALANCE suggests that we assign weight to subtopics within a topic based on the subtopic's prominence in reliable sources. In general, sources focused on consumer electronics would assign more weight to features in a given device which is new to the category or series of devices that the device belongs to, because that feature would be more noteworthy to that device (i.e. it sets that device apart from other devices in the same category) and readers would be more interested in learning how that feature works. So, sources covering iPhone 14 Pro would generally give more weight to the Dynamic Island because it is what set the iPhone 14 Pro apart compared to other iPhones and smartphones at the time, and because readers would want to learn more about this then-new feature. In contrast, sources covering the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro would give less weight to the Dynamic Island because it is no longer as noteworthy as a year ago; also, because readers already had a year to be acquainted with how the Dynamic Island works, there is less of a need for reliable sources to cover the feature in such prominence compared to last year when the Dynamic Island was a new thing. If we were to not have a standalone article on the Dynamic Island, WP:BALANCE would dictate that we assign greater weight to the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro article compared to on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro articles. Of course, any reader can convert this redirect to a standalone article if they so wish (see Retina display for a branded Apple feature having a standalone article), but for now the redirect should continue pointing to iPhone 14 Pro. feminist🇭🇰🇺🇦 ( talk) 16:29, 13 September 2023 (UTC) reply
