Keep the article itself is crap, but a quick search of "Sammy Lunn" Adelaide means he's probably notable, he even got an MBE (not automatically notable, but not a small feat.)
[1] And his funeral procession is in the government archives
[2] and noted in diaries
[3]. Will require historical research, but no reason to believe he's not notable - maybe draftify the thing?
