Hi, I noticed that you wrote a comment about another editor ( diff) referring to another editor as very obsessive and very biased. That is clear violation of Wikipedia:No personal attacks. Taking in consideration that in the same edit you stated I've been here for ten years and am well aware of the rules somebody might think that you deliberately violated this important policy in order to provoke another editor. Stats in football players' infoboxes and update of career stats

Hi.

When you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by updating |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter when updating club appearances and goals, or |ntupdate= (or |nationalteam-update=) when updating national team appearances and goals. The easiest way to do this is to use five tildes, which automatically converts to the current time. For example |club-update=~~~~~.

When you update the career statistics please remember that you should also update that timestamp as well to a time when the stats are correct. This is done by manually updating the date above or below the statistics table. By doing this we show when the stats were last updated and it prevents other editors from accidentally updating the stats again.

This is done to show other editors when the stats were last updated and prevent them from accidentally updating the stats again, and also it shows readers that it has been updated.

Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237  (talk) 09:17, 10 October 2016 (UTC) reply

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Sideshow Bob. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC) reply

Petar I Petrović Njegoš

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Petar I Petrović Njegoš shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You marked the text as "disputed" and that it's correctness is proven false and yet, you gave no explanations or arguments why and where it is proven false and where it is proven that sources are false. If Mariano Bolizza, Vujovic, Ivo Banac and others are not reliable sources to you (Mariano Bolizza was one of the rare people who lived in 17th century and wrote about Piperi, Vujovic, Banac, Miller and Vukcevic are reliable and proven historians with a lot of books written about that topic and other similar topics), than you should really stop dealing with that topic or I will see what Wikipedia can do about vandalism and edit wars. — Preceding unsigned comment added by James Jim Moriarty ( talkcontribs) 12:35, 14 June 2017 (UTC) reply

Non-free use of File:FSCG.png

Please do not be so quick to assume the worst with respect to other editors. Per Wikipedia's non-free content use policy, the use of non-free logos, etc. is not automatic, so arguing WP:OTHERIMAGE is not very a valid justification for non-free use. This particular file's non-free use was previously discussed at WP:NFCR (a link to that discussion can be found on the file's page); so, if you feel it was removed in error and its non-free use should be re-considered, then they are ways go about doing that which do not involve edit warring (for reference, removing non-free files per a previous discussion is an exception to 3RR per WP:NOT3RR).

In general, with respect to non-free content use, logos such as this are considered acceptable when used as the primary means of identification in stand-alone articles about the national association/federation, but not so in individual national team articles because the main national body is considered to be the parent entity per item 17 of WP:NFC#UUI, whereas the teams are considered to be child entities. This interpretation has been confirmed a number of times at WP:FFD or in discussions at WT:NFC, but you can ask for further clarification at WT:NFC if you like. Of course, there are many national team football articles on Wikipedia and in some cases the logo may be licensed as public domain or released under a free license which means its use would not be subject to Wikipedia's non-free content use policy; in other cases, the logo may be non-free, but there may be specific reasons why non-free use has been allowed or it may simply be the case that the file's non-free use has yet to be discussed. So, just as other stuff exists applies to articles, OTHERIMAGE applies to non-free use.

Like anything else, previous consensus about non-free use can change over time, so if you'd like to try and establish a new consensus for this particular file's non-free use, you can start a new discussion at FFD; on the other hand, if you feel a more general discussion is needed regarding this type of non-free use, then the best place to do that would be at WT:NFC. -- Marchjuly ( talk) 10:10, 20 November 2017 (UTC) reply

Deletion discussion about Unijerina

Hello, Sideshow Bob,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Unijerina should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Unijerina .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

The file File:Europe population map countries.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned map.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~ Rob13 Talk 17:35, 7 March 2018 (UTC) reply

Good luck with further edits and insulting other users. And just for your enjoyment - Moje rodno selo je Trepča, kod Andrijevice, u Crnoj Gori. "Fake news"

road blocks were susbituted by peaceful church gatherings (litije) and nonviolent walks, the said priest was not harmed and you are inserting fake news. please stop stalking me Road blocks are a fact and yet you removed that part with some unfortunate summary. Why? Attacks on several priests also took place (if they were not badly harmed is not important!). No, they are not the biggest protests, as there were many anti-govt protest similar or larger in size. And I never said they should not be mentioned, but that there is no place for your essays and frivolous claims based on sources such as the pitiful Blic tabloid. On the other hand, I do not feel the need to discuss with a well known disruptive ultranationalist editor, due to glaringly obvious lack of good faith in your activity on almost all Montenegro-related articles. I hope that you find another hobby other than stalking and reverting my edits, and I would kindly ask you to leave my talk page alone. Presumably the recent edit by User:Sadko, which adds a 'See also' to 2019–20 Montenegrin crisis, may address some of your concerns about undue weight in the main Montenegro article. The issues on quality of sources and neutrality still remain to be settled. These questions could be reviewed at DRN. For example you could try to use DRN to agree on the wording of an RfC and then transfer the matter back to the article talk page. You have made reference to 'fake news' and 'ongoing obsession of this particular user with my Wikipedia activity' which may suggest that not everyone is completely calm.

Please do stop with your propaganda driven edits. Njegoš was not Milo's party member style ethnic Montenegrin. He was a proud Serbian nationalist. This is a well documented fact (if you need a number of sources, contact me).

I shall report you for starting an edit war and vandalising the page.

German districts

I am going through the German districts in connection with a 'limited field' wiki - there seem to be quite a number where the English language WP page election results section when present is somewhat behind that of the German equivalent. Any suggestions as to proceeding (as my German is basic, and tables can be fiddly)? Jackiespeel ( talk) 10:40, 1 October 2018 (UTC) reply

Good luck with further edits and insulting other users. And just for your enjoyment - Moje rodno selo je Trepča, kod Andrijevice, u Crnoj Gori. Edit warring on Greens (Montenegro)

G'day Sideshow Bob, you've been here longer than me, so you know not to edit war. I appreciate it is frustrating when people will not discuss on talk, but you are not helping by constantly reverting. You've done the right thing by bringing it to a dramaboard, but it isn't vandalism (per your edit summaries), it is a content dispute about using Banac's opinion. No doubt you didn't take it to the edit-warring one, but you would have been blocked as well, most likely. I have warned the IP. Peacemaker67 ( click to talk to me) 08:51, 30 July 2019 (UTC) reply

"Fake news"

Is a strong claim and must be really proven. A twit will not do. Current events are the biggest protests in modern history of Montenegro and they have a proper place in the article. If you have any further concerns - take them to the TP for once. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 12:34, 23 January 2020 (UTC) reply

road blocks were susbituted by peaceful church gatherings (litije) and nonviolent walks, the said priest was not harmed and you are inserting fake news. please stop stalking me Road blocks are a fact and yet you removed that part with some unfortunate summary. Why? Attacks on several priests also took place (if they were not badly harmed is not important!). This is a POV pushing, not any constructive editing and most probably Wikipedia:I just don't like it. You did not give any proof or explained that they are fake news. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 12:41, 23 January 2020 (UTC) reply
Feel free to discuss your problems on article talk pages, however. Sideshow Bob 12:48, 23 January 2020 (UTC) reply
You presented no arguments, only some insults. No matter. I do not appreciate being labeled (ultra-whatever). Maybe that is considered normal in your tiny little divided country, but in the rest of the world - it's not. My hobby is just fine and I shall try to find even more time for it... voljno, Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 13:10, 23 January 2020 (UTC) reply
I have not insulted anyone, just stated the truth - the entire point of your activity on this website is tireless promotion of Serbian nationalism, end of. Regarding the article, I simply corrected some untrue claims, leaving most of your edit as it was. I do not care for your feelings, you can be butthurt all you want, I also do not care how you feel about my country, so you can jog on. Sideshow Bob 13:16, 23 January 2020 (UTC) reply
You see what you want to see. Nice language, for a kafana. No arguments presented, no diffs, zero. Nobody can be hurt by wild claims and uncivil behaviour, such moments can only describe the author of such silly claims in the best way imagined. On the other hand, my comment on modern-day MNE is per facts presented on Wikipedia (size, population, economy, the fact that Montenegrins make less than 50% percent on the population). It is nothing personal, unlike your claims and labels ( Wikipedia:Civility). Any further labels will be reported without hesitation. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 13:31, 23 January 2020 (UTC) reply

The DRN at WP:DRN#Montenegro is waiting for your further input, and risks being closed, per the comment there by User:Nightenbelle. I hope you will consider rejoining the discussion.
