Hi Serge. I think I've previously raised this with you but I've asked the user PepeBonus to not remove maintenance templates multiple times, including months ago on their talk page ( User talk:PepeBonus#March 2022—stop removing maintenance templates), in regards to copyedits of the articles they have made for various K-pop releases by the band Stray Kids. I just found out they removed the template again in August. This user is one of seemingly dozens of K-pop editors on Wikipedia who sees no issue with almost verbatim copying Korean media's overblown ESL-sounding write-ups of each track on a K-pop act's albums and even when they aren't basically plagiarising, the prose can be janky in places.
I understand PepeBonus might not like a template atop articles they've created but the grammar in places is in need of fixing, and trying to sift through and decipher each weird turn of phrase on the articles they've created and I've come across is not something I want to waste time doing when this user has shown they will come back to the article in a few days or weeks and add more. Clearly I'm not getting through to them and they think time passing is a justification for removing the template. Would you be able to have a word to them this time around? Thanks. Hi Serge. I am 100% certain that 96.244.18.223 is User:BlaccCrab block evading. Firstly, the IP geolocates to Maryland, as BlaccCrab had an infobox on his user page stating he was from; secondly, amongst primarily focusing on hip hop topics he still seemed to particularly like Dierks Bentley and regularly updating peaks on his discography (which this IP has done today and extensively a couple of months ago, when he edit warred with Binksternet on various Dierks Bentley articles), and not only that but the snarky edit summaries [1] and reverting of experienced editors posting on his talk page [2] is entirely characteristic of BlaccCrab before he was blocked (and the other IPs he has used since). If this isn't enough behavioural evidence to block, please privately correspond with Ferret or somebody who has CheckUser data on BlaccCrab (as I know IPs cannot publicly be connected to former/current editors). Thanks. Ss 112 03:30, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
Hey again, Serge. About three months ago, after I had used Wikipedia's resources for years I realized that I wanted to give back, so I created an account and began trying to add Action Replay content on Nintendo DS. Since then, I've been learning how the site works and have been improving day after day, to the point now where I have completely rewritten some articles in need of attention, and even written a few short articles from scratch myself ( NHDVRA, NHDARM). I just wanted to thank you again for not taking hasty action to block me while I was trying to learn. All I wanted to do was contribute positively and share knowledge, even though it was plain to see that said contributions were ridiculous and completely unfit for an encyclopedia. I frequently think back to the mistakes I made in June/July and wonder how I can avoid making the same decisions again. If you had simply blocked me, I highly doubt I would've had any interest at all in continuing to learn. Point of the story, not to sound stupid or fake or whatever, is that I seriously thank you. Your actions had a positive impact on me, and if I ever had the opportunity to become an administrator in the future, you would be my role model. WhichUser AmI 18:47, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
Hi Serge. After an editor I've left numerous talk page messages for over the years, Noboyo, created an article on a redirect I started, I've just found that they have copied content from an article they didn't start and have not contributed substantially to, and copy-pasted it as a new article without any attribution whatsoever: from here to here with pretty minimal changes. As I've previously had disputes with this editor, I feel that if I were to leave another talk page message on their several hundred-thread-long talk page, it would get ignored or another snarky reply, so as an admin, would this be worth you warning or saying something to them over? Ss 112 16:52, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
An editor has identified a potential problem with the redirect List of video game video game soundtracks on music streaming platforms and has thus listed it for discussion. This discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2022 October 22#List of video game video game soundtracks on music streaming platforms until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Hi Serge. In August, I asked the user Thurlow0391 to not copy without attribution on an article, and they called me a "petulant arsehole" (lol) in return. I didn't even notice until just now, and a user warned them over making personal attacks. They were warned by two separate editors last month for disruptive editing, and I believe they're disruptively editing again recently, clearly in tandem with their IP address, 143.159.0.37, to evade scrutiny or make slightly more contentious edits on the IP. Thurlow0391 and this IP address have both been extensively editing Spice Girls topics recently, as well as the album Homosexual by Darren Hayes (which is I how I found them), and the pattern of speaking on both is exactly the same so I don't think it's in dispute. Personal attacks, disruption, and editing the same pages with two accounts...it's just not a good look from this editor in any way. If a look through wasn't already convincing enough, they just edited Olly Murs discography on the IP then less than 10 minutes later edited Olly Murs on their registered account. Hi, it's me. From the Scrappy stuff a while back. I moved it to fandom a while ago, and I'm not going to try and put it back here. My problem is something else that happened a while ago. During the debates of whether or not my summaries were to be kept, someone on the other side seemed to think a while back that I had just copy-pasted everything from other sources before me. I did sample a small bit, around 5 summaries and some sentances I really liked earlier on, but sometimes the language they used implied much more, and they admitted that they only briefly looked into it, which genuinely upset me. I know now that not even a little bit is acceptable for wikipedia. When I moved it to a draft to work on it some more, I had to clear up some other accusations. I easily did so, but it still bothers me that this happened. I know this happened a while ago, but I suppose it boils down to the principal of the matter and also when I moved it to a draft that whole thing seemed to have inspired some people to try and say that some mirror sites were the originators, not me. I obviously was easily able to clear this up just by comparing the dates they were added, but it's just another reminder that there isn't any real closure on this and it in fact created some misunderstandings. I'm not trying to get Ferret in trouble, or start a fight or anything, Completely disregarding the staying status of the summaries themselves, I absolutely do want closure on those accusations on the talk page and set the record straight. I'm not trying to get the other user in trouble, or start a fight, or anything. It's just that some things about me were said that were untrue and it would be nice if I could get closure from him on this. I'm coming to you with this because I'm not sure if he's upset with me. -- Smcupcake19 ( talk) 03:52, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
Hi Serge. In responding to a message about music charts on their talk page, the user Antananarivo261 just admitted they have previously edited Wikipedia under different accounts ("I had other accounts in the past..."). I'm not sure if the accounts have been blocked or if this is worth a CU looking into, but you might be able to get more information from the user regarding this as I'm somewhat suspicious of them now that they've said that. There have been too many editors over the years who edit charts in the manner this editor does who have been sockpuppets. Ss 112 04:41, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
Hey Serge. I apologize for the earlier edit on Spirits. I did not expect that to have been done by you given the title mistake; I assumed it was done by someone who did not know better, and should have checked.
But it does bring me back to something I'd been meaning to ask you about since I initially added all the information on Spirits. I just added what I knew was missing, but I immediately noticed the discography had it differently aligned. What are we calling a single? I get why "Spirits" isn't included, but I don't get why we're excluding "Turn It Up Like", it received its own single art and was released separately as its own thing on digital platforms, not just as a lead-up to the album like the title track. I'd argue the same point for " Don't Stop", honestly. dannymusiceditor oops 00:44, 15 October 2022 (UTC)

Hello, I would like to help expand the reception section of this article. I have particularly noticed a "higher reception" of the game compared the last decade of game releases from this series (if more captions are needed on that subject, I can easily provide). As you can see on the page already, of the 12 scores listed, 9 have scores of 7 or above while the other 3 have particularly low scores (1, 2, and 4 /10). Recently, a youtuber named Dunkey made a video regarding his opinion on the game's "low quality". The reaction from this was interesting since it seemed that there were two camps fighting for the games reception, as can be seen with "review bombing" in both directions (positive or negative) which is why I thought 'polarizing' would be an appropriate word to open the reception of this game. If sources are needed for that as well, of course I can provide. Residency12 ( talk) 23:04, 17 November 2022 (UTC)

For watching and correcting the link at Net als toen, haha.. you're right, I de-linked the composer in lead but forgot at the infobox. And, if you have thoughts about inclusion of weeks and positions of featuring albums, and if there's something to fix at "track-listing" (like add id parameter?) I would love if you can tell me. Thank you very much! And congratulations for your 10-year adminship anniversary :-) אומנות ( talk) 23:36, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

And congratulations for your 10-year adminship anniversary :-) אומנות ( talk) 23:36, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
...needs to be stopped. The guy literally inserts stuff that the sources don't even say and literally admits to it: https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Gothabilly&action=history "The musical style is a combination of 1950s bluesy rockabilly mixed with creepy gothic piano and guitars creating a slow tempo with moody melodies." what does he do: insert "gothic rock" --22:25, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
