New vandalism has occurred in "List of North European Jews", "List of Canadian Jews" and "List of Manitobans", checked "Canadian Who's Who" and "Who`s who in the world" all show that the edit was bogus, so I reverted, am not a regular user here, though so it was just a fluke, also vandalism seems to be race-related. There have been several major vandalism sprees of this type, most originating in Finland, Sweden and Czeck. My recent edit to the Twin article does not at all constitute vandalism. I made a legitimate edit: one which improves the article by rewriting (or in this case, omitting) redundant phrases. Wikipedia's definition of vandalism is "any addition, removal, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia." I have not done any of this. well it seems more logical to remove something that is incorrect than to keep it there until it has been modified. I did actually say what the name of the stadium was and i didn't think i would have to say it's location because there is only one stadium of light. Also there is a marker for a stadium in north wales when it should be in liverpool.

How could my edit on paper folding could possibly be considered vandalism? My change to the article on the US Pledge of Allegiance was NOT vandalism. Upon checking the source, of the content I changed, "Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 4, US Code," I discovered that the correct words are "render the military salute" rather than "stand at the position of attention." This amendment was added in 2002 and should be reflected in the article. I made the edit again and posted a comment about it on the discussion page for that article.

I deleted it as vandalism, and left a suitable warning for the ed. who did it--thanks for catching it. (Just for reference. it isn't a blatant copyright violation to copy one Wikipedia page to another. And it isn't a copyright violation at all if one leaves a link. when its not vandalism, it can be deleted via "Housekeeping" as a duplicate or changed to a redirect. Actually, he is continuously deleting information. I tried to manage him, but he is quite adamant. He is also possibly trying to make long contribution list by editing same topic over and over sometimes 15 times in a row. I would like to refer you one of the page he is taking much care than usual. You should watch the history of the page to get the detail of that.

Actually, hen you worked out lots of updates about a topic overnight, and update Wikipedia and the next night you see everything is deleted & rolled back & you have to tell that person from where you have got these updates from, so that he will allow you (& eventually update it himself, won't let you); I feel it's quite more than a moderator act sometimes. He doesn't even update himself, but pen-through everything you write down.

Actually, I already explained this to you, Deblopper. I just make sure the article is not too biased, and a lot of the punctuation you added wasn't capitalized correctly, and, I know you're not from America, because it was used in our accent, so I fixed the grammar as well. I used all the references you provided as well (although some were in different languages, so I found new ones). And as for making a bunch of consecutive edits; sometimes I just forget to make an edit, then I go over the article, see a small mistake and fix it. Hi, you left a vandalism warning for User:Kombiman a bit ago for an edit which deleted most of Fibonacci number. While it's correct that the edit was significantly damaging, it's also a fairly typical newer user or fat-fingered editing error. It didn't look like vandalism at all - vandals rarely put in an apparently correct interwiki link replacing the article content. That was pretty obviously an attempt to append the correct interwiki link which went wrong.

Please remember not to bite the newbies. Telling someone who made a mistake that they did so and asking them to be more careful is entirely appropriate. Telling them not to vandalize isn't. Thanks!

You reverted edits I made to the Salwa Judum page. There is no complaint against you. I just want to bring to your attention that the page gives information solely from Maoist and Marxist-Leninist sources and request your help in cleaning it up. I don't want to rewrite it and see it getting edited away.

First, I agree that the charge of defending pedophilia was without any evidence, but it was actually based on their defence of the Maoists abducting hundreds of children leading to charges of pedophilia. I don't understand why you reverted the word 'popular' though. That is actually a fair representation.

Naxalite is a dirty word in India! So Salwa Judum is actually hugely popular. The "human rights" organization, PUCL, actually has a one point agenda -- that of crying out against "injustices" against Naxalites. IOW, it is a Naxalite front. So what the page has is actually a POV.

I don't see why the truth should be suppressed on Wikipedia. If the Maoists were actually popular and Salwa Judum was unpopular, why do the Maoists need guns and why do they have to hide in the wooded mountains? Hexer was one of the first users I encountered while doing vandal patrol; I tend to focus on other projects while he's dominating RC. And with Huggle, I will take it slow once I obtain it, I've been mistaken for a Huggle user once when I was reverting too quickly and made a mistake. I'm contacting you for your opinion, let me explain.

That user, Deblopper, and I, are basically having a war in the discussions. (Not articles) I'm sick of debating whether or not we should add speculation to the article, this user wants to name this article "Prince of Persia: Prodigy", they even provided a reference. However, they're saying, basically, "The general public believes this to be true, so we must apply it to the article." The reference they provided states this: "First, what do we call it? Though the Ubidays press materials listed the title's name as Prince of Persia Prodigy, the very same name recently trademarked by the IP-owner Jordan Mechner, Mattes wouldn't confirm that that was the final title: "I don't think we've announced the final title."" That means they haven't announced the final title of the game, doesn't it? The user even told me that, even though that reference states that the game is not confirmed to be titled "Prodigy", that we should name it so, because the fans are speculating it. Here is the discussion, where this user clearly states that, because this title is speculated, we should add it. Tells me to stop using my opinion, which I'm not doing I'm simply trying to stick to rules and keep it factual. I find it surprising they use opinions on factual based articles, don't you?

Anyways, in conclusion, just give me your opinion, based on the facts, whether the page should be called Prince of Persia: Prodigy or Prince of Persia (2008). Dude527 ( talk) 03:29, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
