Thanks for uploading Image:Dvd video logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot ( talk) 04:37, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Hello J.delanoy, I have granted rollback rights to your account. The reason for this is that, after a review of some of your contributions, I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended use of reverting vandalism: I do not believe you will abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck. how was it not constructive? All I day was change it to the same format every most other wikipedia pages about cities use, not only that, the word caucasian lnked to European Ameican, not all Whites are of European descent. My brother-in-law is White, and he happens to be Egyptian. I did what was correct, what was proper, I did not do anything that was destructive. I'm not sure why I am being hounded for making a correction. 67.173.195.17 ( talk) 19:09, 16 January 2008 (UTC) well, I'm going to be honest with you, I am going to change it back, and, while I'm at it, look for some more sources for it. I just don't like it when people attack me when I'm correct, if you thought I was improper, you have every right to do so, but, Europeans are not the only White people, and that's what I was getting at. Also, the term Caucasian is not usually used in official documentations for alot of things. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.173.195.17 ( talk) 19:19, 16 January 2008 (UTC) It's alright;everyone has a different opinion about something. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.173.195.17 ( talk) 03:55, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

I am sorry you were offended that I deleted a bit of badly spelled trash that was located on the page entitled "Watermelon". However, what you "corrected" was not a bit that I intended to delete anyway. Ah, but someone has to defend the "Watermelon" page from those evil ones who might delete a couple extra empty spaces. Why did you make this change? If you will do a case-sensitive search throughout this article, you will find that every time the word "God" is used, it refers to a certain deity specific to the religion in subject. If the word refers to "a god," as in this case, it should be lowercase. I'm leaving it alone for the time being, but if you have no objections, it should be changed back to "god." Fléêťflämẽ U- T- C 01:58, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
The part which I meant to delete, and in fact did delete was a blue box at the top of the page containing words that said something along the lines of " It is said by manny scientist that a watermelon is a veggi but thier is still alot of debat." You can see in the edit history of the article that the blue box was in fact once there. Please do not contact me again. Hey! Thanks for helping edit the Eli article. I've been working on his article off and on for the last 3 months and added most of the references and photos. I saw you added the peer review request. A lot of the links I added are either dead or not properly formatted (I mean they're not using the <ref name="this">{{cite web|url=|title=|author=|publisher=|accessdate=|date=}}</ref> format. Could you help me fix those up? I can't do it from my current location (I only get educational sites), but it's something I've been meaning to do from home. I'd like to see this article get FA soon. Hi J. Delanoy. Myuser name is nhakimi I am new to wikipedia editing and had no intention of vandalizing. Furthermore I know no other way of contacting you than writing here as I am right now. Please understand that my intentions are only good, and that I sincerely wish to discuss with you further how you suggest I make contributions to pages such as that for Lynchburg without vandalizing. Thank you and apologies for offending.
Well sir I accept your apology and as a matter of fact am immensely relieved that I was actually ok. The last thing I wanted to do starting out was incur the wrath of a (well-respected and highly experienced, I gather) administrator such as yourself. You certainly haven't scared me away from wikipedia. I'm a little traumatized, but I'll survive and I'll stick around :)
You know, the best way you can make it up to me is be available for help when I need someone to help me learn my way around!
Let's start with this question: when I have referenced a source, and I want to refer to the same source later, how do I make a tag that will refer to the source I've already used? Ex: Cite error: A <ref>
tag is missing the closing </ref>
(see the
help page). it simply made a repeat of the old reference.
I appreciate your help and your graciousness... no worries about the mistake.
For the userpage revert. I was asleep at the time so I really appreciate the revert. and if you were wondering, yes they were incorrect :) AngelOfSadness talk 17:42, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

I notice you have just reverted my recent edit to sixpence, and sent me a message saying it consititued "vandalism". I am totally baffled by your actions. My change made a few improvements to the flow and grammar, added a subheading, added a couple of links, converted a reference to the preferred style, and so on. The information content is unchanged. Since someone else also reverted the edit previously (which I assumed was just finger-trouble), I'm wondering if something has gone wrong that I'm not seeing that makes it appear as if I have trashed the page or something. Good day. I'm sorry to inform you that your Request for Adminship has been progressing poorly. After reviewing the discussion and the contents of the comments made, I have closed the RfA under the snowball clause.
Please don't take this to heart—you're clearly a productive editor, but simply one who is not yet ready for adminship. Might I advise reading WP:GRFA#General advice for nominees? It has some excellent advice, and I point you to it with some urgency: it really will work wonders if you plan to run again in the future.
RfA is a difficult and heated process, and there have been countless candidates who have failed their first (and even several) RfA(s), to go on to become experienced administrators (and, in some cases, to serve the community as an arbitrator!) Don't be too down-hearted, and happy editing!

What's going on? Thanks, Matt 20:03, 25 February 2008 (UTC).
