A user created the article Shun Akiyama (Yakuza) and it seems to lack notability. Sadly, I'm not familiar with his game so I have no idea what to add there. I guess being bold is a good option but I've wondered if it would be best if we can create a character list with all the playable characters at least so that this franchise have more coverage in Wikipedia. Alen Alic / Acekard/ 7aces, is whom I believe is Crazyeditorguy22, or at the very least a friend of his.

I believe he made the new alias after we have been calling him out for editing the Wikipedia article and making large chunks of it to give himself unfair and dishonest credit, under his "acekard" name.

I even spoke with Jason Kaufman my self, and he believes an Editor claim is completely unreasonable. Because all he did was rip Mark's footage without permission. Alen only got the footage because he manipulated Jason. Alen then went and used said footage and put together a very half arsed "remaster" with very little effort. He only THEN told Mark about it and tried to get the video UPLOADED TO ALEN'S youtube channel. After a long back and forth Mark eventually agreed to just upload the video to HIS channel, due to it being HIS CONTENT.

Mark and Alen are not even good friends and haven't been for a long time. I don't know enough about wikipedia to get the proper protocols in place to stop him, but if do you know I ask you to try. Alen does not deserve to get away with this.

That's not vandalism or a fake block notice, that's a warning notice. You violated WP:3RR, so as per Wikipedia policy, I put the notice on your page to warn you against doing so and get you to argue your point on the talk page instead of engaging in an edit war. Notice that I personally stopped at the third revision within 24 hours for that reason. I've been reverting your edits because many of them have been inaccurate, unsourced, or overly concerned wih minor details that would fall under WP:Gamecruft. Yes, I’m aware that I broke one of them, but you’re not permitted to place those notices on talk pages, hence “fake”. I’m not saying that a warning or a refresher isn’t necessary, but making it look like that I excessively vandalized something is not only an exaggeration, but mostly false. Furthermore, undoing edits that don’t need to be undone is completely unnecessary, and anything that seemed off after your first few suggestions I removed. Look at it this way — if someone is claiming something is true and they keep reverting your edits, simply find some sources (which I have done already but couldn’t add them since you were continually reverting my edits, so I had to fix them before I could add the references). It's not my responsibility to find sources for information you add. The burden of proof is on you, so you should add those sources when you first add the information, not after. And yes, anyone can place those warnings on anyone's page if they see someone violate the rule. Just thought I’d clarify something. Each WikiProject has their own importance scale (see WikiProject Japan, WikiProject Video games, and the Sega Task Force for more respective details), which means you must place the correct importance and rating with the corresponding article. Something that I clarified with the other two editors who continued to ignore the scale on said talk page, you must go by the scale and not for any personal reflections or opinions. If you look at the video game WikiProject's importance scale, the said page fits "High Importance" scale for being recognizable and being a culture icon outside of their respective video game (again, something may change in upcoming years that requires a reassessment, as maybe the character is canceled or no longer significant in culture, etc.). As for WikiProject Japan, the page fits "Mid Importance" due to her recognizable popularity in said country, much like Hello Kitty (although more significant hence the "High Importance" rating). If you feel like the projects should change their scaling requirements respectively or spot any errors, feel free to discuss it under their talk pages. I should also add that if I see a page under the incorrect rating, I usually tend to fix it going by their WikiProject guidelines and said scale. Thank you, hope this helps! And I stand by the fact that Ulala is of mid-tier importance to the video game project (comparable to other character examples listed like Fox McCloud or Jin Kazama) and low-tier importance to the Japan project, as all sources indicate she has not achieved nearly the level of recognizability that you suggest. I’m placing the appropriate ratings back in about a day. If you want a reassessment, discuss it under the talk page and take it up with the respective WikiProjects like every other "veteran". I am going by their scales, I always have, and if it’s wrong I fix it without being biased. If there’s any problems I talk to them like this directly and try to solve it. I do not want to argue with you and whatever happens behind PMs with other people is none of your concern. You obviously didn’t read anything of what I had to say because you’re just concerned about "being here longer than me". Being here longer than others doesn’t mean you know everything about Wikipedia, and maybe people “below” you might know more — it’s irrelevant. But yes, it’s always better to listen to veterans because they have more experience, but being irrational never helps. I’ve listened to the guidance other Wikipedians have given me, and if I was unclear about something or did something wrong, I fixed it. But this is about the importance scale on WikiProjects — one of which I have been a part of since near the start. When talking to other Wikipedias, next time, try to be reasonable and stop being arrogant through irrational behavior, or else others will get frustrated with you. Hey, Cyberlink420. Look. I stopped by and I wanted to apologize for all the trouble I never meant to cause. I never meant to be a pest when I kept editing the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe section to explain that the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC has more than one issue. I only wanted to share additional info & issues that I felt Mario Kart fans should at least be aware of. Needless to say, I've made an apology message to let you know that I'm sorry, but also want to explain my reasons to why I added the information that I made. My apology reads, and I quote...

But at least please try to hear me out.

In my opinion, talking only about one issue about the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC is NOT enough.

In addition to people's gripes with the graphical differences of the tracks between the DLC & the Base game, other players & fans of the Mario Kart have raised other issues, like the DLC tracks' lack of Anti-Gravity Mechanics, & especially the DLC's lack of other content like characters, vehicles, wheels, gliders, outfits / skins (aka the "characters alts from Tour"), power-ups, & so on.

Besides GameRant & Essentially Sports, the ONLY 2 internet sources who've touched about the latter topic in regards of lack of other contet such as characters, vehicles, & more, many people on Platforms such as Twitter & YouTube have either at least mentioned said issue, or even criticized the issue. Even big name YouTubers like GameXplain, NintendoLife, & Arlo have mentioned or even wished that said content would be implemented to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to go along with the tracks.

My reasons for adding the information I've been trying to add in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe section of the Mario Kart 8 Wikipedia page is because NOT everyone focuses on only one issue that the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC has. You can't always say that the graphical differences is the ONLY issue that the DLC, you need to discuss OTHER issues, too.

And everytime I saw that information removed, I felt that you were censoring information that Mario Kart fans could at least be aware of.

As much as I want to share legitimate sources that discuss the DLC's issue of Lack of characters, vehicles, & other content, the PROBLEM is that other than GameRant & Essentially sports, big name news sources, as far as I know of, DON'T DO THAT.

The only people I know who discuss on or even at least mention such an issue are...

-GameRant

-Essentially Sports

-YouTubers, including big names like GameXplain, NintendoLife, & Arlo

-Twitter Users

At least consider that you can't always focus on only one issue that fans have with the DLC. You have to consider OTHER issues, too.

Besides, if YouTube Videos & Twitter Tweets are allowed as references so long as they're legitimate, like with the Green Eggs & Ham (TV Series) Wikipedia page having the Trailer on YouTube & the Announcement Date on a Netflix Twitter account as references, why not videos made by big names like GameXplain & NintendoLife?

But all things considered, if you really don't want to me to edit the Mario Kart 8 page anymore, then fine, I'll knock it off.

And with Mario Kart's 30th Anniversary coming this August, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo added more characters, vehicles, wheels, gliders, outfit / skins (characters alts from Tour), power-ups (maybe), & other content to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Besides, in my honest opinion, if tracks from Mario Kart Tour are coming over to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, then surely, Nintendo should do the same with Tour's characters, vehicles, wheels, gliders, outfit / skins (characters alts from Tour), power-ups (maybe), & other content.

Not to mention that one day, Mario Kart Tour will shut down, just like Dr. Mario World did, so it'd be wise to preserve Tour's content in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Appreciated, but the category shouldn't be deleted. All I'm doing is (manually, without automation) removing instances of the "Nintendo games" category when it's also categorized under one of its subcategories, such as "The Legend of Zelda games" or "Mario sports games". That doesn't apply to every page, though, as there's lots of Nintendo games like Fossil Fighters and Hotel Dusk that aren't part of a subcategory, in which case they should be left under "Nintendo games". Stuff like Raiden and Sam dueling, Maverick continuing to support Raiden unofficially, Sunny being the one to assist Raiden, Raiden's sword being destroyed (which is the whole reason he needs to use Sam's), and so forth. Also, Wikipedia's guidelines say the plot summary needs to be less than 700 words. It used to be 706, just a little bit over the line, but the IP edit brought it down to 692, which is within the limit. There's no need to make any more changes because it's already acceptable. I came very close to blocking you for edit warring as well in the Sonic Frontiers dispute. The two of you kept at it on the article and also created quite a mess at File:Sonic Frontiers gameplay screenshot.png, which can be seen in all the deletions I had to do. The only reason I didn't was your willingness to engage in discussion on the article talk page, and your attempt to stop the edit war by way of posting a warning on their talk page. Another administrator might have blocked you. I am perhaps biased by this (see 9 December 2008), and had some reluctance in blocking someone who was asking for help.

But let's be clear; asking for help and warning doesn't give you permission to continue an edit war either. If Southwestmetal (or any other account) reverts on that article again, don't revert. Ask for help. There's no deadline for the article to be in a particular state. Once help arrives, action may be taken by others. I know it can be irritating dealing with stuff like this, but patience is in order.

I know you've been here a long time, and have an empty block log. But, that did not figure into my decision to block them and not you. In fact, I didn't even look at your history here before deciding on what to do. The point is; you've been here long enough to know better. It's fine, just be careful next time. I know all too well how easy it is to get tunnel vision when you don't understand why someone reverted you. If something like this starts to happen again on another page, I suggest opening up a discussion on the article talk page after the second revision. That way, you're still within WP:3RR and it demonstrates you're making a good faith effort to actually improve the article and work with other editors rather than taking a "my way or the highway" approach. ArojamDharkon also reported mine looking correct. The issue comes down to the fact that you're viewing the list in a much smaller window than most desktop browsers. The source for that tweet is the exact same DKVine article; they just added a name where DK Vine didn't, with no proof that Loveday actually said these things. And some random Twitter account isn't a usable source either. You need to use sources that meet the requirements for verifiability on WP:VG/RS. If you're really determined to use that source, I suggest bringing it up on the talk page for video game sources to see what people think. You might have an uphill battle. In my experience, it's hard for articles without a lot of sources to make GA, especially if the game doesn't have a Metacritic score. At the bare minimum, I'd recommend making sure as many statements as possible in the Gameplay section have citations to verify them, and that the few raw URLs in the sources are converted to proper citations. I'm sorry I put too much emphasis on the Spy Fox 2 plot summary. However, your edit did leave a few typos and did leave out a few important details in the plot, such as Agent Gracefully giving Spy Fox the pill which can transform into skies; these were reasons why I edited the summary in the first place. I was touched by your revision and wanted to help fix it, but I guess I went too far. The trick to writing a good plot summary is to focus on the important bits. Spy Fox escaping after being confronted by goons or being trapped in the Dogbot's mouth are relevant details, but the fact he uses dehydrated skis or gears to do so probably aren't. Focus on making sure the major events of the story are summarized, not so much on the little details of the puzzles solved to do it; that sort of thing would be better for a walkthrough. @ Cyberlink420 I do understand. However, some of the info on the plot you put down was not entirely correct. I played the Main Story of Sonic Superstars once with all Chaos Emeralds collected, and when I started on Trip's campaign the next day, I found she had access to all the Emerald powers from the off. It's fine, I just want to make sure we're using proper artwork. I couldn't find that particular piece you used the first time anywhere in the press kit or my rips of the in-game assets, so I'm not sure where it came from; it's noticeably uses a slightly different skin tone and color palette than the rest of the art, so that's why I suspected it might be off. Text distribution mostly. It looks a little weird when you have these short little paragraphs for each of the first three cases, then these huge blocks of text for 4 and 5. It just looks nicer when all the paragraphs are of roughly equal size.
