Hi Buidhe,
I'm MtPenguinMonster, the creator of the recoloured version of your Armenian Genocide recognition map. I created the recolouring after a colour-blind reader told me that the map was difficult to read. I chose the colours blue and black as per H:Colorblind to make the image more accessible. I notice you reverted my edits introducing the recoloured map to the articles, claiming that your colour scheme is clearer to 97% of readers. While I agree that using red and green is intuitive for non-colour-blind readers, the shades your map uses are inaccessible to people with red-green colour-blindness. I suggest that you choose a more accessible colour scheme, such as one suggested by H:Colorblind or Commons:Commons:Creating accessible illustrations, or better yet, find a way to construct the map such that colour is not the only method for distinguishing the countries that recognise, are neutral on, or deny the Armenian Genocide.

I was very impressed by the long list of articles you contributed and their very documented content. Nevertheless, reading the article "Legality of the Israeli occupation of Palestine" I was surprised to learn that there is not even a single reference to the Oslo agreement and all the subsequents attempts to end the Israeli occupation. These omissions , either on purpose or not , are making this article very, very biased and misleading. I wish you "Happy New Year" and a less biased article writing for year 2024! Hello @ Buidhe
Hope that you're ok.
You've made a huge contribution to the article on the Holocaust in Greece. Well done. Your work is invaluable!
I myself am a specialist in the subject and I'd like to add a few more elements and make a few changes (if possible).
You've probably seen, I've added a map. I hope I've included all the information correctly and that my additions comply with Wikipedia rules (I'm a new contributor). Don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything wrong. I really hope that together we can provide readers with a clear and accurate article.
I've noticed a few mistakes, such as the boat of Jews from Rhodes that stopped at Samos (not Leros) to pick up the 98 Jews from Kos. Other small corrections need to be made. My book provides all the information you need, with precise sources. I don't want to delete your work without discussing it first.
Happy to chat with you.

Hi. I was reading Feldman (2003) which is concerned with paramilitary violence in the North. One passage notably read as it follows: "The basic forms of punishment: to start off is the kneecap, but it’s very rarely that it is a kneecap. It is only on rare occasions that they put the gun to the back of the knee and blow the actual kneecap out. It’s usually a kneecapping that consists of getting shot in the leg, the thigh, the bottom leg. It depends on how severe the crime. If you want to get kneecapped, usually a rape would involve getting kneecapped. There been very, very few actually kneecapped..." Futher details of the methods are included. This is testimony rather than Feldman's own writings. I was wondering if it - or the article itself ( https://www.researchgate.net/publication/31399052_Political_Terror_and_the_Technologies_of_Memory_Excuse_Sacrifice_Commodification_and_Actuarial_Moralities) - is of relevance? Since everyone travelled long distance for the conference and would have no doubt pulled out a map app at some point, awarding a barncompass is probably as fitting as a barnstar.) I notice that you recently created the article Apistomel. Do you think it might be the same topic as Apimostinel. They both described as antidepressant drugs, they have very similar names (maybe synonyms, or maybe one is a typo?), and they both have "GATE-202" listed as synonym. Can you have a look? Thanks. Hi! I noticed you started an article on DIY transgender hormone therapy. I'm trying to merge my own draft on the topic into your article, and to generally improve it a bit. Could you send me a copy of "On the Basis of Gender: A Medical-Legal Review of Barriers to Healthcare for Transgender and Gender-Expansive Patients" ( doi: 10.1080/19371918.2021.1942378)? Hi, I happen to come across a 3rd opinion request by (student) editor @ WP:3O regarding ongoing discussion @ Talk:Poverty industrial complex#Recent reverted edits, which in part, seems, relates to article scope and WP:DUE.
Since you seem to have contributed to the Industrial complex related articles, you may want to review disputed changes and share your inputs as and when time permits you. Bookku ( talk) 05:35, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
Hi Buidhe,
I'm MtPenguinMonster, the creator of the recoloured version of your Armenian Genocide recognition map.

Hello, Buidhe,
Just a reminder, when you are tagging articles created by block-evading sockpuppets using Twinkle, put the sockmaster (in this case, Friedjof) in the field, not the username of the sockpuppet or a link to the SPI case. Many thanks for your work. Liz Read! Talk! 02:59, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
On 16 December 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Blockade of Biafra, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that at least one million civilians died as a result of the blockade of Biafra (child pictured)? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Blockade of Biafra. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page ( here's how, Blockade of Biafra), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I appreciate that examples of use don't make valid citations, but this academic paper seems to demonstrate the point, I think?
... in contrast with the international obligations stated in Protocol 1 of the European Convention of Human Rights (hereinafter the "ECvHR"), Article 1. ... that the European Court of Human Rights (hereinafter, the "ECtHR") would inflict on Italy if the domestic legislation on expropriation were not to change, ...
Do you think I should cite that in my footnote? 𝕁𝕄𝔽 ( talk) 19:50, 16 December 2023 (UTC)

Best,

Hello Buidhe, you made some edits on this Centre. It is working in Germany, but as a private entity (with "Wanderausstellungen"), not as a state owned museum. I think the article in the english WP does not show this. I have no interest in this centre but for instance in this small research libray in Potsdam see https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lepsiushaus (I think one of the best centers in Germany for armenian issues) best wishes -- Cholo Aleman ( talk) 10:49, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
