As a rule of thumb, don't nominate an article for deletion at AfD when it has a speedy deletion tag on it. In the case of The Stewards of Somerset, speedy deletion was clearly appropriate, so not only did I have to delete the article, but I also had to close the AfD. That article had such a clear lack of notability that no discussion was necessary. — C.Fred ( talk) 04:10, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
I noticed some of your work on ACC today and thought i would offer a little help. I believe you may be going to the list of recently created accounts rather than the pending requests, which often get reserved within a few seconds. If you are looking over things to see how it works you don't need to reserve the requests. You may want to review WP:ACCG or/and join most of us on the IRCchannel #wikipedia-en-accounts. There is a bot on the IRC channel that notifies us when new requests come in. If you happen to use Firefox there is an add-on that you can install to join in the IRC discussion. Cheers delirious & lost ☯ TALK 04:28, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
Your comment in the Film Victoria AfD sounds like you are withdrawing the nomination, but I'm not quite sure enough to close the AfD with that outcome. If this is your intention, then feel free to close the AfD yourself (see Wikipedia:Deletion process#Articles for deletion page has instructions if you aren't sure how to do this) or, alternatively, you can clarify your statement on the AfD discussion page and someone else will do it for you.
If you aren't withdrawing the nomination, I'd clarify your statement accordingly. Thryduulf ( talk) 14:17, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
Hello Btilm, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I have deleted a page you tagged ( Lewis Owen Clarke) under a criterion different from the one your provided, which was inappropriate or incorrect. Hello Btilm, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Ruth tester - a page you tagged - because: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. NW ( Talk) 04:24, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

I have removed the prod you placed on this article because of the "underconstruction" and "inuse" tags on the article. It is bad faith to place any deletion tag on articles tagged with those I mentioned. In the future, please ensure the page you are tagging does not include either of these tags. ArcAngel ( talk) 04:49, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
I have corrected the tag from db-person to db-company as the article is about an organization and not a person. I would suggest reading this section to ensure that you understand how to appropriately tag pages for speedy deletion. ArcAngel ( talk) 05:01, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Neither Nodi Swamy Navirodu Hige nor Nodiswamy naviroduhege nor Motor Pool (Biology) qualifies for A1 speedy. The first two contains more than enough context - the subject is a film by an Indian director who's famous - and indeed who, it turns out, has an Wikipedia article. The third one is a totally valid stub - by an established editor, no less. Please go over WP:CSD again; WP:FIELD and WP:WIHSD may also be helpful. Tim Song ( talk) 06:16, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Hello. 800 lb. Gorilla (band) has been nominated for speedy deletion under criterion A7—it's an article about a band, but it doesn't say why the band is notable. For an article to qualify for speedy deletion, it doesn't have to establish notability (in other words, it doesn't need to have sources), it merely has to assert notability.
As you know, A7 is just one of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you're not sure whether an article qualifies for CSD, PROD it. You can use a summary of "questionable notability" if that's your concern. You can also try to Google the subject to see whether you get any meaningful hits.
I hope this helps. — Malik Shabazz Talk/ Stalk 23:35, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

I created a page of the NHRA's 2010 season for next year 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Season and you marked it as needing a lead section. Why does it need a lead section if it's going to be linked to the National Hot Rod Association article next year??? I created a similar page for this year's season 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Season and it is linked to the National Hot Rod Association and didn't require a Lead section. It's simply charts of the season schedule, their results, and driver point standings. TBird100636 ( talk) 00:22, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
It's interesting, but I don't see how it saves that much work. I'm content with using the current infobox generator, and everything else doesn't really take that long to do; besides, I usually have to fix a few things in the infobox generator, so I'd still have to look over all of the articles. It's not a bad concept though, and if you developed the whole thing into an automated process (something like what User:Ram-Man used to create all the U.S. city articles) I would probably be more interested. Oh, and as a general note, when a "helper" comes along, he or she will change the {{ helpme}} template so that more "helpers" do not think that you still need help. If, after a while your "helper" hasn't responded, you can re-add the {{ helpme}} template. Thanks, Tim1357 ( talk) 02:02, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Thats good, but I'd still like to know what you want to do with it. So, if you could, tell me what you want to replace [[ebay]] with. BTW, AWB is written in dotNET, so you'll have to use dotNET Regex. Tim1357 ( talk) 02:37, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

CSD criteria are narrow and specific to protect the encyclopedia, and the process is more effective if the correct deletion rationale is supplied. Consider reviewing the criteria for speedy deletion. According to the suggested guidelines the threshold is 75 valid articles, you're at 53 [6] (c. 3500 edits). I'd say you're at the upper "edge" of those that are granted Autoreviewer. If I were you I'd put your request at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Autoreviewer - and if there's a problem there I'd put in my support for you. Skier Dude ► 04:11, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

I'm a well-established editor, I've put up the appropriate tags while I'm editing it, so give me a few minutes to add the appropriate sources. -- nsaum75 ¡שיחת! 04:45, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
