Hello, SQL.
I have been an editor since 2011, but thought that IPCheck was restricted to Admins or others with elevated privileges. Out of desperation today (a persistent disruptive IP editor of the nice happy Winnie the Poo's Heffalump article) I thought I'd give IPCheck a spin. I saw that it was no longer supported but tried it. It is a wonderful tool!!! You did such good work.
After I found what I needed, I clicked the helpful red advisory ribbon at the top of the page, which took me to your archived talk page relating that WMF told you to cease supporting IPCheck. I am so sad that they don't adequately appreciate IPCheck, and more importantly, didn't appreciate YOU.
In the status update, you mentioned MusikAnimal as your colleague. I have bumped into him a few times; I was always impressed by his broad AND deep knowledge, as well as his cordial demeanor.
