I notice that you have recently edited the Heath Robinson (codebreaking machine)article.
In July 2012, you initiated the Turingery article and I then expanded it, including quite a lot of detail about the Lorenz cipher. Subsequently I have written the, as yet unfinished, article Cryptanalysis of the Lorenz cipher. I imported into it most of the contents of 'Turingery' because it seemed to be a better fit there. I wonder whether you think that I have done the right thing and perhaps 'Turingery' would best be relegated to a redirect to the Turingery section in 'Cryptanalysis of the Lorenz cipher'? -- TedColes ( talk) 09:58, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Michael W. Shields, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Yaksar (let's chat) 11:55, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi Jonathan! In Russian Wikipedia we have a big controversy on notability of streets (some people think that our articles about streets should be deleted), so I'm trying to collect some material on state of the art in other Wikipedias. Could you please refer me to existing rules about notability of streets in English Wikipedia? Are in general sources mentioning the date when the streat appeared, its former names etc. sufficient to prove its notability? Or sources with more detailed historical information are required (like several paragraphs dedicated to the street)? Or all streets in big cities have immanent notability? Hey there, I was just looking at Category:Cultural media, and I'm wondering what you had in mind when you created it back in 2009. My guess is that you were probably thinking of media dealing with the arts. But the term "Cultural media" is pretty ambiguous, and the category is currently being used for two rather disparate types of articles: both those dealing with the arts, and also articles pertaining to various ethnic cultures. It's rather a hodgepodge as things stand, and I really think something needs to be done about it-- but I'm not sure quite what! So I thought I would start by running this by you to see what you think. (Please be kind enough to leave a note at my talk page when you reply.) Regards, Cgingold ( talk) 06:28, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

Hallo, There's a standard layout for disambiguation pages which have the title "... (disambiguation)", and I've reverted that part of your edit to People's Park (disambiguation).
It may be that you think the one in Berkeley should not have the "primary topic" status and the dab page should be at the base name. There have been two previous discussions about moving it, but in 2006and 2008 - you could start a new move proposal using WP:RM.
I'm not sure what logic has been used in ordering the various parks on the page, either in the past or currently, but I think some subheadings would be useful and I might have a go at splitting them by continent and see what that looks like. Pam D 18:36, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ocean Resources Museum, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marine ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
