Hi, I would like to notify you that your expansion of Mount Aniakchak was recently undone by another editor, if you aren't aware about it yet. Apparently consensus from a discussion is needed before one can improve/expand an article which is plain absurd.
I'll probably work on bringing back some content from old revisons back so he doesn't make noise. The two sections that are misssing from the current revisions are Human history and Surprise Lake which I'll see if I can add on, though I haven't research deep enough to see if they're even worthy of mention. Dora the Axe-plorer ( explore) 00:12, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Dora says I was "straight up disruptive", but I think my edit was in line with WP:BRD; I reverted your bold edits as questionable, so we should discuss. I know what expansion is, and that's not what this looked like. It looked like you threw out what was there, replaced it with a new stub, and then started expanding that. Maybe I missed some plan that led to that approach. Let me know what's going on. Dicklyon ( talk) 00:26, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Actually the history seems confused. What looks like your first edit there replaced about 16 kB with about 2.5 kB but is listed as +2.5 kB. What am I missing? Dicklyon ( talk) 00:30, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Ah, some page deletion and undeletion also went on. Mysterious (to me). I won't bother you more about this, but it would do me good to understand what the process is here, in case I see something like this again. Dicklyon ( talk) 00:34, 6 January 2024 (UTC)

Thank you today for Mount Berlin, "about a volcano in Antarctica, and the only one in Marie Byrd Land with ongoing geothermal activity. In the past, especially before about 10,000 years, a number of volcanic eruptions have taken place there and have dispersed tephra across Antarctica. The volcano partly developed under ice and features ice-volcanic landforms."! - I just was in volcanic areas on La Palma and took photos (see "places"), - perhaps you could identify features better in image descriptions than I could ("yellow rocks")? -- Gerda Arendt ( talk) 08:17, 6 February 2024 (UTC)

On 15 February 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Pamatan, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Pamatan is an undiscovered city on Lombok that was destroyed by the 1257 Samalas eruption? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Pamatan. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page ( here's how, Pamatan), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi Jo-Jo. Would you be willing to restore the page history of Louis Byrd and create a redirect that points to List of mayors of Lynwood, California? The table there has short biographies on each of the mayors from that municipalities, and I think that copying the content from the now-deleted article into the table would be useful. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 02:24, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
