I know I should let Jiujitsuguy fight his own battles but the curiosity is driving me nuts. Would it be appropriate to block Malik Shabazz and Huldra as well since they were reverting directly after the protection was lifted? They were both reverting before the block much like Jiujitsuguy was. I can understand Jiujitsuguy receiving a lengthier block (if one is needed at all) since he just had one a couple weeks ago, but all three appear to have committed the same infraction. Neither Malik Shabazz or Huldra have been exceptionally disruptive lately or anything but all were engaged in a content dispute that Jiujitsuguy was trying to figure out (toned down wording and all). Just seems to be a little off to me but I might just be biased. Cptnono ( talk) 01:07, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
You (somewhat questionably) asked for another editor to sign off on a consensual edit. The only other (relatively) recently active editor did so. I requested you come back and make the edit. You haven't done so. Block is off the page tomorrow and I can do it, but I'd just like to say that its clear you've been active since my request (secretly archived somewhere I guess - where are your older talk posts?). Hello,
You (or someone who has registered an account with your name at SVWP) recently asked me to contact you.
If this is because of Heymid's request above, you might want to read the Heymid section of the Swedish equivalent of Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard at http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:KAW (which is in Swedish, but Google Translate does a pretty good job) in which his case and permanent ban there have been discussed. Heymid has been causing a lot of trouble and work at SVWP, and most everyone agreed that he was deliberately wasting others people's time by asking irrelevant questions, making utterly pointless administrator nominations etc etc. He was trying to explain this <redacted>, and that did buy him a bit of time and sympathy, but sometime in May we ran out of patience with this account, which to everyone except perhaps the most naïve was perceived as an obvious troll.

HJ, I'm worried I've messed something up on RfPP. I noticed today a large notice appeared when I went into edit mode on a particular request. The notice was generated by Template:Editnotices/Page/Wikipedia:Requests for page protection, and it was so long that it was hiding the response tags in the toolbox, so that when I was dealing with a particular request I was having to scroll back up to find the right tag.
I've fixed it temporarily by going into that template and shortening the text, so it now looks like this, instead of this, but that template hasn't been edited since December, so it must be that someone recently added it to RfPP. I can't find where that was done and how to undo it. Would you mind taking a look? SlimVirgin talk| contribs 00:25, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

You are attempting to establish a block history on me and your recent block was abusive and one-sided on several levels. First addressing your claim that I “appeared out of the blue” three weeks ago, that allegation is false. My first edit to the Deir Yassin article occurred on Feb 3 2010 [1] Second, the exact action that led to the instant block by you was made in precisely the same manner by Federico1234 here. Actually, his action was more egregious because it was an outright revert whereas, at least I introduced new, sourced material, never introduced before. [2] I also discussed it on the talk page before making the edit [3]. Strangely however, he was not blocked and no sanction was imposed. Also, the Discussion pages are filled with lengthy talk where I advanced arguments for my proposed edits and reached out to the “other side” in an attempt to reach compromise. No need to compile the many diffs too numerous to list, just have a look at the discussion page and Malik Shabaz's talk page. Typical responses were, “your source is too Jewish” or “too Israeli” or he’s an “Israeli propagandist” and so on. When I found sources that were “ Judenrein,” they came back with nonsense like, “he writes children’s books” or he’s “not a historian.” Nothing I said made any difference. Then you blocked me but left the other editors who reverted me unmolested, even though they took an active role in the edit war, weeks prior. What a double standard if I ever saw one. As far as my other block that occurred nearly a year ago, that happened when I was still new to wikipedia and wet behind the ears. I was not familiar with 3R but learned quickly.
Deir Yassin was a controversial battle (every IP topic is controversial but this one more so) during Israel’s war of independence. There were Arab civilian casualties but there were also Arab combatants who were killed. Moreover, there were many reasons, documented by notable historians, why the civilian death toll was so high but certain editors are preventing me from listing them. They are also preventing me from noting that Arab combatants were among those killed by the Israelis. Thus far, there have been over 20 edits made by 4 like-minded editors since you blocked me. But I’m to sit passively on the sidelines while I watch an article turn into cheap anti-Israel propaganda. What the hell do you want me to do!?-- Jiujitsuguy ( talk) 02:39, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Hypothetically, if someone made the edit "2+2=5" somewhere it would be inappropriate, let's say in the mathematics article, even if it had a consensus and verifiable, reliable, neutral references, would it be ok to edit war if necessary to revert it, if all other options in trying to fix it were exhausted? Hi, Yeah I just saw that - how the hell did I manage that...
Thanks for clearing up and for the rights.

I think you have to make your comment again. You deleted the username for the comment you accidentally made while logged out, but that doesn't accomplish much considering you signed the post (with your IP address). I proceeded to delete the revision itself, but now your latest edit to the page is just a null edit. So, I think the best thing you can do is rewrite the comment. -- tariqabjotu 23:23, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
I thought my talk page was being highly active today... and then I look at yours. 50 edits in the last 14 hours. Absolutely insane. How have you accomplished anything other than attending to the orange bar? Courcelles ( talk) 03:41, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Other topic: what do you make of This log? An "Editor" user group? Huh? I've not heard of such a thing... Courcelles ( talk) 04:39, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Thanks mate. That was nice of you :)-- Jiujitsuguy ( talk) 04:55, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

I have started harassing IP editors.

Hello! I have found removed edits on Wikipedia. They have a grey line across the edit in the page history. Why are some edits removed, or maybe you administrators can see them? Why is it like that with some edits? Heymid ( talk) 12:54, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Hello,
I was wondering if you could unlock the Syracuse University article. A third party's opinion has been taken into account and new sources has been brought forward. A consensus seems to have been reached. Please see the discussion page at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Syracuse_University#Edit_request_from_128.230.73.104.2C_16_June_2010
Thanks so much. 68.236.160.233 ( talk) 20:49, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

I blocked vzealot (uhardblocked) as UAA. When going in to post the block message, I noticed you had posted a concern message. I gave him a uhblock post. The name is offensive and inappropriate. If you have a concern please let me know. If you disagree, just inform me, and then do what you feel is right. I will not unblock the name as it is clearly over the line. -- Alexf (talk) 00:15, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
Hi! I'm somewhat confused... so I should use roll backing for obvious vandalism like profanity or large blanking and Twinkle or other scripts for vandalism that is not really too obvious, or does it just mean that I should be careful in whether assessing whether something is vandalism or not before rollbacking it? ~ Qwerp Qwertus · _Contact Me_· Get Adopted! 00:57, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
Hello. This is to Beeblebrox and HJMitchell. A while back we spent lots of time on a new user and his peculiar timestamp username. It probably added up to several user-hours spent. That user has since not made any edits. This is not a unique case. Many follow this same pattern ending in a waste of time for all. I am watching one unfold now and it is really annoying me. Do you have any recommendations on a clever way to handle these kinds of new users? Please drop me a line on my talk page if you have any thoughts. Thanks. Some copy cat User:Sco 1996 has copied everything on my user page and put it on his. I saw him do it as he is using the computer next to me in my school library. He could be doing it to take the mikey out of me. Sco1996 | I will respond. 12:53, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Greetings my dear fellow. Just dropping by to place this butty on your talkpage, as I see you around ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE, you're an extremely dedicated and helpful and knowledgable Wikipedian, your signature is my favourite of all (it reminds me of a tune from Rags), and because I have nothing be better to be doing with myself at the present moment. I hope you're hungry, my man. Orphan Wiki 21:13, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Please reply the e-mails! I'm unquiet :-p Also, excuse me for the bad grammar and everything, I sent that with my cellphone (free Internet due to the bad weather :D) Cheers and thanks. Diego Grez let's talk 00:13, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for making me a reviewer. Will pending changes show up in an article's history? Bubba73 (You talkin' to me?), 01:02, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for your note. I saw the prod, but decided not to contest it. It was a term I found in an academic paper when I was doing the reading for David Icke, and I hoped others might be able to expand on it. But it was never developed, and I couldn't find anything else either, so it's best forgotten. :) SlimVirgin talk| contribs 06:04, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
