I'm torn on the track listing at Tales from Topographic Oceans. I actually just noticed you made the same edit I tried to make back in November, only to have it reverted. I can see the argument that it falls under MOS:STYLEVAR, but for a long time the page had the track listing as a simple list. At some point in time, some editors started changing a lot of the recommended simple bullet style listings over to the template listings, even if the track listing didn't necessitate that. Then when folks like you and I try to change it back, we get reverted. So frustrating. Anyway, I think you were in the right when you changed it back in November. Hello, Elephantranges.
We seem to have a difference of opinion on the how to present the recording information on a couple of Neil Young album pages. Several of his albums, particularly in the 70s, were recorded across different years and studios and feature different musicians on each track. I find it helpful to list this information for each song independently. I've adopted a format other users have employed, for example on Neil Young Archives Volume II: 1972–1976. I find this format is clean and easy to read. I would like to find a format that we can both support so that we don't find ourselves overwriting each other's work. What are your thoughts?
