A German writer! Welcome to the Wright Challenge. Feel free to ask further questions here or here, or ask Andrew or I. I,m currently in Vienna talking to the Austrian Wikimedia people so its a coincidence. If you are looking for an article linked to Germany then can I recommend Peter Perez Burdett who had a second life in Karlsruhe after fame in Derby and Liverpool. Hi Doh and thanks for your feedback on the review of Azerbaijan for Good article status. I very much appreciate your efforts. I also took for your advise and adjusted the article accordingly. What other criteria is there for this article to meet the Good article criteria? Neftchi ( talk) 09:42, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
I'm quite surprised you approved this. Of the Wikipedia:Good article criteria it doesn't quite hold up to 1b, 3b, and 6a. Anyway, since you've done it, I suggest you quickly ask User:Neftchi to deal with File:Transheya.jpg, a copyrighted image with no fair use rationale for the article. Once that's done, 6a will be fixed, which is the main issue (Wikipedia+slighly disputable copyright=big hoohah). Cheers, Chipmunkdavis ( talk) 10:49, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

Sorry to use the standard template but it's a bit easier as a starting point (the red link won't work but the link to the nom will)... All three of these nominated articles are fine in terms of length etc but we're having a hard time finding a suitable hook that links them all. I think three hooks, one for each, would be a suitable solution but even then I feel there is actually very little content to the articles in terms of results (distances, times etc) so it provides very little scope. Further expansion of all three to include addirion facts that could be used for DYK is still a possibility so please make some suggestions. If you want any assistance with this don't hesitate to ask as I'd be more than willing to help - Basement12 (T. C) 23:54, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi there! You are receiving this message because you are a participant of WikiProject Wikify. After the retirements of our first two executive coordinators, Mono and Guoguo12, WikiProject Wikify is undergoing a period of transition. We are currently holding a discussion to create a plan for the future, find volunteers to help fill our many administrative positions, collect any feedback about what has happened in the last six months, propose some new guidelines, and see if there are any creative ideas to increase participation. We appreciate your input! |
