Do you have any other images of the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame in your collection? I have nominated the new article for DYK using one of your pictures. I'm thinking about a picture with less trees and more fish, even if that means some of the fish is missing. I've found some cool pictures of just the mouth and head on the internet [1] [2]. This angle [3] is pretty nice! This roadside attraction needs to make the main page! I've only been through Hayward once and the big fish is UNFORGETTABLE! Royal broil 05:15, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi Bobak, since you are the main USC guy on Wikipedia I know that is active in all things USC, I wanted you to take a look at the recent edits of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football rivalries page. Someone from an unregistered IP address keeps reverting the language from "USC" to "Southern California", claiming that USC is never used (however he/she is leaving "USC" in the paragraph in multiple places and only reverting my edits). Moreover, his/her edits are disrupting the reference tags, as he/she is changing the reference names on the tags as if it were regular copy. It is clear this person does not know to properly edit and does not know any of the etiquette of Wikipedia. I would keep posting notices on his/her talk page but it seems pointless. What can be done to stop his/her disruptive editing? Regards. Tedmoseby ( talk) 22:38, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Just curious why you have indef'd semi-protection for Notre Dame Fighting Irish football rivalries. The article hasn't been edited very much in the past few months. You appear to have a content dispute with the anonymous editor who has repeatedly edited the article so if protection is appropriate you shouldn't be the one to apply it. The anonymous editor's edits don't appear to be blatant vandalism to me but a content dispute. Further, it seems that you have only edited his or her Talk page once with a vandalism template and you haven't edited the article's Talk page at all. Finally, even if the editor is vandalizing the article it seem that the better course of action would be to block him or her, not to indefinitely semi-protect the article.
Am I missing something? I can't quite understand your actions. -- ElKevbo ( talk) 19:27, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
Hi there. I was on this user's page when I noticed this warning. It does seem that this person probably isn't acting in good faith. However, the phrase "I will crush you" could come off as a personal attack. I am requesting that you semi-protect the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football page for the next couple of weeks. Bobak, I fully agree that the plot section for Up in the Air (film) is severely lacking. However, I thought it would be odd for me to flag it myself. Although I know the broad outlines of the plot, I do not know the details of the plot sufficiently to write a coherent plot section. The film is in limited release in 175 cities this weekend. I will not be able to see the film until it is in wide release on December 23, 2009. I will attempt to expand the plot section as soon as practical after seeing the film. If you wish to expand the plot section, please do so. -- Dan Dassow ( talk) 19:33, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Even if it wasn't intended, please remember that making such statements could anger vandals, provoking them to vandalize further and making them less likely to reform and contribute positively. tk tk tk 21:25, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Greetings Bobak - Sorry to hassle you, but I noticed that you've already blocked User talk:209.251.101.146 on two occasions. They're at it again. Thank you. -- Technopat ( talk) 22:15, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Are you going to the game? -- BrokenSphere Msg me 01:54, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for adding the pictures of Weedpatch Camp to the article. I got the idea for creating the article after reading two books about the Dust Bowl to my students. One book mentioned Weedpatch Camp (no, it wasn't "The Grapes of Wrath"). I asked the NPS to send me a copy of the nomination. When creating the article, I found a lot of historic photos at the Library of Congress website, but I don't know how to download them. Einbierbitte ( talk) 00:25, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
You told me to stop vandalizing wikipedia and that article or i'll be blocked, in april 2008. When did I ever vandalize that article? 69.136.246.3 ( talk) 02:35, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
I have to say — I love good montages :-) Nyttend ( talk) 01:17, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi Bobak, as you are probably aware, there will most likely be a coaching change at Notre Dame in the next few days. I am requesting that you semi-protect the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football page for the next couple of weeks. We are already getting edits from anonymous users trying to vandalize or jump ahead and edit for Weis being fired. I am asking you since you have been very helpful and cordial in the past. Any amount of protection you can provide is appreciated! Tedmoseby ( talk) 17:47, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Bobak, I just wanted to congratulate you for the impressive work on the Todd Marinovich entry. I came upon it at random knowing nothing about the man and with little interest in football, but it was so well-written that I read the whole of it. Thanks for your effort!
