Hi Bgwhite, just to let you know that I have knowledge that 'Caesar..' is Mr Martin Armstrong himself, trying to edit his own page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_A._Armstrong. His desire is to place his version of the story and then prevent any edits from being made. He is attempting to use content from his autobiography PDF, but is not aware of the copyright approval process.
I have directed him to the following links already, but he is not willing to listen (or even read the pages apparently, because if he did then he would understand what is occurring).

Hey Bgwhite/Archive 7 :). A quick update on how things are going with the New Page Triage/New Pages Feed project. As the enwiki page notes, the project is divided into two chunks: the "list view" (essentially an updated version of Special:NewPages) and the "article view", a view you'll be presented with when you open up individual articles that contains a toolbar with lots of options to interact with the page - patrolling it, adding maintenance tags, nominating it for deletion, so on.
On the list view front, we're pretty much done! We tried deploying it to enwiki, in line with our Engagement Strategy on Wednesday, but ran into bugs and had to reschedule - the same happened on Thursday :(. We've queued a new deployment for Monday PST, and hopefully that one will go better. If it does, the software will be ready to play around with and test by the following week! :).
On the article view front, the developers are doing some fantastic work designing the toolbar, which we're calling the "curation bar"; you can see a mockup here. A stripped-down version of this should be ready to deploy fairly soon after the list view is; I'm afraid I don't have precise dates yet. When I have more info, or can unleash everyone to test the list view, I'll let you know :). As always, any questions to the talkpage for the project or mine. Thanks! There's no rush getting back to me. Aside from this list about an actress, I'm working on articles about children's books and their writers. I'm probably most proud of Alice Dalgliesh and Beezus and Ramona and the rest of the books in that series. One I started from scratch is Doris Gates. (I've since learned why to use the Show Preview button!) I have been directed to the Teahouse, and they are fantastic there. I was curious about the change you made, not protesting it or anything. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can so I do things correctly. I think I'll stay away from BLPs from now the on, the hurdles seem almost insurmountable to me. Thanks for your time. Thanks for the "hello". I started out on Wikipedia mostly creating and editing articles related to Japan and film, but after I began patrolling new pages on the same topics, I got more involved in AfDs, sniffing out hoax pages, and other fun stuff. I too hope I don't only get associated with horrible pages, but Jeremy Ladell Murph was a doozy (what I don't understand is why other editors, some of who added categories and other things, didn't mark it for deletion from the start). I don't remember Jessie Frease, but all these pages are becoming a blur these days. Michitaro ( talk) 12:18, 8 May 2012 (UTC)

I noticed that you removed the {{ WikiProject Biography}} template that I had added to the bibliography articles for comics creators. In making sure that all the articles in the comics creators work group are properly tagged, I discovered that some of the bibliography articles were already part of the project as List-class. We should be consistent by having them all classified the same, so I don't understand why you would remove the ones that I added, when similar articles such as Dan Abnett bibliography and Neal Adams bibliography are still part of the project. Can you provide a reason as to why they should not be included? Fortdj33 ( talk) 16:12, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

I wanted to comment though on your edits like this one: [1] -- It's generally frowned upon to edit other people's indents this way, because they've usually indented a certain way for a reason. Not every added comment requires an added indent. Indents are intentionally not added when people want to show that they're not replying to the person directly above them. See WP:INDENT for examples. I've just tagged Jack Douglass for AfD - for some reason I don't quite understand, I got the impression that the article had already been deleted as a PROD and had been recreated with the PROD tag still there, so I removed the tag and slapped an AfD on it instead. But of course it hadn't been deleted (well, it had, as an A7 several months ago) and your PROD tag was very much current. Apologies for being all confused. These are the articles identified:
I had planned to relist them, but honestly this seems better given the tremendous backlog at WP:CP. They could wind up being blanked for a very long time! At least this way, there's an article to be read. You can work on them at your leisure, if you're still willing and able to help.

Raffi Lavie had a nice text from the Biennale announcement. It was erased. Can you help rewrite it so it can stay. It was: He was a key figure in the “Want of Matter” style that developed in the 1970s, so called due to its adherence to inexpensive, ascetic materials such as plywood, and the use of collage; a style associated with urban, secular, local values untainted by the narratives of ideology. [1]
The synthesis of scribbled line and collage is unique to Lavie's work. It has been compared to the work of American artist Cy Twombly.
Observing Lavie’s works, two qualities stand out: the child-like painting, and the obsessive erasure of images via scribbling, carving, and generous color strokes. These practices are connected to his perception of the periphery’s double role as an actual place and as a spiritual dimension. The acts of erasing and starting anew are closely related to Lavie’s cultural heritage as an Israeli and a Jew. Working from within a scopophobic tradition, far-removed from any center, he created an idiosyncratic language, specific to the place, its needs, and desires. [2] Thanks Drkup(IMJ) ( talk)

I recently asked on Village pump (technical) if someone could write a script that would allow the corresponding talk page or main page to be displayed when viewing articles in a category. User:Equazcion was kind enough to build it. The script can be found here. The script also shows in red if the corresponding page has not been created yet. I have found it to be very useful and wanted to share it. Kumioko ( talk) 14:00, 2 May 2012 (UTC)

Thanks! Hi. I'm very new here, and am doing my best to learn as quickly as possible. I'm wondering if you could please explain why you removed the theater and radio credits from this article? Jane Booker. (Well, it's really just a list.) Thanks. Tlqk56 ( talk) 21:30, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

I think it's probably best to let the AfD discussion happen now that it's been created, even though it was unnecessary of me to create it in the first place. -- bonadea contributions talk 08:50, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

There's no sign of permission, for the Israeli artist articles that we were talking about earlier. I've removed the content for now (making sure that there's enough that there won't be any hyperzealous A7 tags!) and am bringing the list to you in hopes that you can, as you suggested, help with rewrites.
These are the articles identified:
I had planned to relist them, but honestly this seems better given the tremendous backlog at WP:CP. They could wind up being blanked for a very long time! At least this way, there's an article to be read. You can work on them at your leisure, if you're still willing and able to help.

Hey all :). A notification that the prototype for the New Pages Feed is now live on enwiki! We had to briefly take it down after an unfortunate bug started showing up, but it's now live and we will continue developing it on-site.
The page can be found at Special:NewPagesFeed. Please, please, please test it and tell us what you think! Note that as a prototype it will inevitably have bugs - if you find one not already mentioned at the talkpage, bring it up and I'm happy to carry it through to the devs. The same is true of any additions you can think of to the software, or any questions you might have - let me know and I'll respond.

For the section external link there is the link of the official page of Ottobre in Poesia, and it is ok as you wrote me, but in the section related items was the link to the wikipedia of October in poetry. For this reason I left the two links in two different sections, because one was the official website of Ottobre in Poesia so external link to wikipedia, and the other link the connecting to the wikipedia page of October in poetry. Hi Bgwhite, a warm welcome for helping me out. I respect ur commitment towards Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I’m thankful for reminding me the very basics of writing article on Wikipedia that external websites may be usd as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Hi. Just saw this AWB edit that you made and noticed that you moved the reference outside the parentheses. Per WP:REFPUNC, it is actually appropriate to have reference inside that type of punctuation.
[2] Thanks Drkup(IMJ) ( talk)

until the biography has at least one such source."Hi; I am the writer for the Inusa Dawuda article and I am a bit confused as to why primary sources are not considered as valid as sources from third party sources. As a librarian, primary sources are considered more credible than third party sources. The information that this article lists is the artist's official biographical information written by publicists for his web presence via websites and other artist biographical web resources. This information is not from my mind or head, but from the artist's official information which I formatted for the wikipedia article.
