• The article is new and the nomination meets the timeliness criteria. The QPQ is OK. Images are in the public domain and appear in Wikimedia Commons. The hook is short enough and moderately interesting, though the references to "the busiest land border crossing in the world..." seem more like an unsupported assertion. Can something more substantive be found? I see no reference mentioning the distance from border. That factoid seems insignificant to me, and I'd recommend deleting it. Thanks for your review, Bruin2. The 50-foot distance is in the lead and is cited. The "busiest" claim is in the "Significance" paragraph and is double-cited, since I knew it could seem like a rather bold assertion. -- MelanieN ( talk) 20:31, 15 June 2014 (UTC)

• Pulled from Prep 1, per question by The Rambling Man over sourcing. One of the sources for the hook is 4 years old. Don't know about the second source. The Rambling Man has given a source dated 2014 that says the busiest border crossing is in Texas. — Maile ( talk) 19:08, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

The "busiest border crossing" was true for a number of years, but maybe the temporary spike in border crossings in Texas means it is not true at the moment. I propose changing the wording to "one of the busiest border crossings in the world". -- MelanieN ( talk) 22:11, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

I'm OK with ALT2 as well - whatever the promoting editor prefers. To answer the question of "to whom exactly" the building is historic: it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
