Where's the source of Yang Yuan leaving because he surrended???
I'm guessing that your using 中興誌 ?? since I've read the quote in Li Guang Tao's 朝鮮壬承倭禍研究。 The writing says that Konishi send a messenger to Yang Yuan asking him to just abandon the walls for safe passage , but he did not accept. And broke out after the walls were already breached and the city overran. —Preceding
