Certainly. I'd argue that the "Pets" sections should be moved to a draft page entitled "
Draft:Pets and the LGBT community" (once the page is more fully formed it can be moved from the draft space to
Pets and the LGBT community). I'd say the "Animal roleplay and furry fandom" section should be merged to
Animal roleplay (the first sentence, beginning with "According to Men's Health") and
Furry fandom#Activities (the second sentence, beginning with "Covering furry fandom". The "Animal slang terms" to a new section in the
LGBT slang page. The "fictional animals" section should be moved to
History of LGBT characters in animation (there will probably need to be further moving of content on that page after the merger). I started a discussion about that merger
here on May 10, if any further discussion on that is needed. The "Unicorns" section should be merged to
LGBT symbols#Plants and animals with creation of a new sub-section there entitled "Unicorns". Does that make sense?

I have completed this, except for the line on furries since the facts in this quotation and its source are already integrated into that article. I also did this move to the draft title, but this would need much expansion and reworking for the mainspace (for one, it's US-centric). A few of the statements could alternatively be added to
Pet, namely
Pet#Effects_of_pets_on_their_caregiver's_health without the need for a separate article. I could also conceive of a
Pet ownership in the United States article that includes these and other wider statistics.

i think this article is disapointing on its own and placing it entirely under the animals in LGBT culture is a good idea. sorry to dig up an old discusion.

I mean, at this point, the article has already been merged, so I think it better to improve the existing page since the "Animals in LGBT culture" no longer exists and is just a redirect to this page.
