Alright, I accept that this character is notable, that's fine. However, if this character is from a notable series of books, the article should be about the series, not the actual character. It would be a good idea to rewrite and move the article. (I would do this myself, but I know absolutely nothing about this series.) Mr. Absurd ( talk) 03:29, 16 June 2008 (UTC) reply

To be more clear: this article should be moved (re-named) to whatever the name of the series is, and rewritten to be about the series. While the series may be notable, there should not be an article for both the series and the character. Mr. Absurd ( talk) 19:52, 16 June 2008 (UTC) reply

I did wonder if this was the same character. (and the same world and concept).

Especially if there were wolves which feature very prominently.

Checked on IMDB and it is based on the Jan Brzechwa books.

Released 2023; put on Netflix 19 June 2024.

Oh: I just realised that Brzechwa wrote THE BOYS WHO STOLE THE MOON where the Kaczynski brothers were protagonists.

So the main thing that is different in the Netflix version is that girls are the main characters and they are a bit older.

(eg: Adas is 10 in one of the 1980s ones; Netflix Ada is 12 years old and she is based in Katowice).

(and the Contrary family).

Another thing: Brazil and Ecuador.

And New York’s Polish District.

I recognise some of the actors - and the writer and the director - from other Polish Netflix watches over the past four years.
