A fact from Nightwork: Sexuality, Pleasure, and Corporate Masculinity in a Tokyo Hostess Club appeared on Wikipedia's
Main Page in the Did you know column on 15 September 2005. The text of the entry was as follows:
The paragraph about the book being dated may be correct, but no sources are cited to support the claim.
I'm not ready to try rewriting this paragraph, I would prefer Leandrod do so himerself. Leandrod should provide external sources about the change in "hostess clubs" should be provided (web pages and/or readily-available books), or at least directly assert personal observation to support this claim.
-- bgold@nyx.net
No response to the above. I have edited the paragraph to say "some believe that the book is dated".
