The subject has been involved in controversies that are not mentioned in this article. Her defense of Baylor and former football coach Art Briles and their handling of multiple rapes. She made a public apology for her comments about punching people in the face, and the apology also should be included.
And there is nothing about Britney Griner -- either about their time together at Baylor or Mulkey's refusal to comment about Griner's Russian imprisonment.
I do understand that many coaches over time pressed players to stay in the closet. Care should be taken to treat Mulkey's conduct in context. Landisr ( talk) 23:11, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
I tried to clean up what I could in the main sections of the article to help improve citations. I also added some citation requests rather than just strip things out, again hoping that someone will come along - perhaps LSU's press office! - and clean up her page. At the very least, if someone would take a look at some of her peer coaches' pages to get a gist of the detail to include, etc... it'd go a long way toward improving this page.
