WrestleMania 39 2,309,241 The premier WWE event always tops this report when it happens. This year it was held at SoFi Stadium, with 15 fights across two nights. It is also the last event before the company was acquired by Endeavor, uniting the staged wrestling and the real one of UFC under the same banner.
ChatGPT 1,957,207 Down from the top spot, the chatbot that warrants extensive discussions on artificial intelligence.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie 1,198,274 It's-a me, a-Mario! Letsa go!

In 1993, the Super Mario Bros movie was released, and it was terrible. (There's a subset of people who have somehow gaslit themselves into thinking it's good, which I will never understand.) Now, in 2023, The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been released, and while critical reviews have been mixed, audiences are eating it up. This second shot at a Super Mario adaptation—produced by Illumination (of Despicable Me fame) with direct involvement from Nintendo and led by a star-studded cast including Chris Pratt as Mario—had the biggest opening for an animated film ever, one-upping Frozen 2.

Kim Mulkey 1,149,615 March Madness came to a close, and somehow the women's tournament got more attention through this coach of the victorious LSU Tigers.
Deaths in 2023 914,314 I'm going down in a blaze of glory
Take me now but know the truth...
John Wick: Chapter 4 781,261 The 4th John Wick movie came out starring #23 as the title character, receiving immensely positive reviews from critics.
Brooke Shields 619,430 Hulu released the two-part documentary Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields, about this actress who became a sex symbol while still a teenager ( Pretty Baby is a film where she played a 12-year-old prostitute), took a break to attend Princeton, and has been steadily working ever since.
Dan Hurley 614,143 And for "regular" March Madness, the coach of the victorious UConn Huskies men's basketball. The team included his son Andrew, and he also has a father and brother named Bob in the basketball business.
Good Friday 598,601 The holiday where the Messiah was tortured and executed, chronicled in horrifying detail in The Passion of the Christ.
Ryuichi Sakamoto 584,716 A Japanese musician who died at 71, leaving behind a career pioneering in electronic music and with many film forays (along with scores that included an Academy Award for The Last Emperor, he played an IJA captain who falls in love with David Bowie in Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence).
Caitlin Clark 561,437 #4's team blocked in the final the heroics of this Iowa Hawkeyes player, winner of the Naismith College Player of the Year for an outstanding season that saw her became the highest-scoring player of both genders with 191 points in the tournament (surpassing Glen Rice's 184 back in 1989). Clark's hype is even translating to massive television viewership and thousands of people trying to get season tickets to witness her last chance to win an NCAA title.
Dasara (film) 547,878 This Indian period film set in the Singareni coal mines was released on March 30.
Paul Cattermole 533,450 Six months before S Club 7 would start a reunion tour one of its members was found dead at the age of 46.
NATO 517,918 Finland joined NATO on April 4. The country applied for membership less than a year ago in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, making it the fastest accession process in the treaty's history.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves 502,263 Another game whose first movie is best left forgotten (even if there's a cult following, mostly because Jeremy Irons overacted as if his life depended on it) and now got a better adaptation starring a Chris, as Chris Pine is a bard leading a group on a quest that will recover a resurrective artifact and exact revenge on a former friend turned into a greedy lord. Funny and with many creative setpieces, Honor Among Thieves won over reviewers and audiences, opening atop the box office and having already passed $100 million worldwide.
Angel Reese 482,273 She, more than #4, stood on #11's way for a championship, and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player as a result (and her family had another title to celebrate as #8's victorious team includes her cousin!). During the week Reese also got revolted that Jill Biden tried to break tradition and invite the runner-ups Iowa along with the tournament winners LSU to visit the White House, something that was later reversed.
The Night Agent 459,720 A spy thriller show adapting a novel that became a hit on Netflix out of nowhere.
Stormy Daniels 451,838 The porn actress made it to #18 for her involvement with the US president in getting him indicted (#20).
Barbie (film) 447,598 Life is all about contrasts. In July theaters will receive on the same day Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan's prestige biopic of the father of the atomic bomb, and Barbie, Greta Gerwig's clearly parodic approach to the famed doll. Interest shot up for the latter with a screwy trailer that among other things reveals Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are not the only people playing Barbie and Ken.
Indictment of Donald Trump 424,448 The former president who was so nice he was impeached twice, has now been indicted for his involvement in paying hush money to #18, facing 34 felony charges of falsifying business records in the first degree, making him the first US President to be indicted, although this has been argued as the equivalent of getting Al Capone on taxes. Besides that, a trial is expected in December, with there being trouble and finding an unbiased jury, so we will have to wait for future updates. All of this makes the 2016 slogan "lock her up" all the more ironic.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. 423,744 The nephew of the youngest and most assassinated president is running for president in 2024, as a Democrat, but he likely won't win due to his anti-vaccine positions.
Andrew Tate 420,791 He's on the list as he was moved from prison to house arrest in Romania.
Keanu Reeves 402,216 The star of #6, who along with being an actor also was in the 90s the bassist for the band Dogstar.
Bholaa 398,484 Another Indian film released on March 30. This time, it's a remake of the 2019 Tamil film Kaithi.
Jeremy Renner 380,057 The actor is on this list because of his own documentary being announced. ( If only there was an app where we could talk about this.)
