The "Buddyloid" issue has been long resolved and the only people still fighting against it are trolls.
See: Final discussion thread that reached a consensus here:
Talk:Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters#Final statement on Vaglass, Buddyloid, and Metaloid. The site is being brigaded from external sources such as Reddit because there is a mob out there who are targeting this as a way to say "Fuck you" to a person they disagree with, as he is no longer around to defend himself. The consensus was finalized without the person they're targeting's involvement, and thus I feel the issue is separate from him. -
Kitsunelaine [Beware. The foxgirls are coming.]05:45, 7 November 2015 (UTC)reply
Thank you for dismissing anyone who feels that using "buddyloid" is incredibly racist as a troll. Especially as that discussion ignores in-show evidence in favor of sources from Bandai and TV-Asahi. Why are Bandai and TV-Asahi bad sources, you may ask? Because they don't care about the English, as can be seen in their coverage of Kamen Rider Drive's character of Gold Drive. Both
Bandai and
TV-Asahi used the spelling of "Gord Drive" for the character. Is anyone really going to try to argue that "Gord" is the word the creators of Kamen Rider Drive intended? How is it any different for the Go-Busters creators, who used a completely different spelling that was ignored by Bandai, TV-Asahi, and this very site.

Are you seriously accusing me of being racist because of a translation issue that's already been resolved? You don't really get to decide that the people who made the show are wrong about their own translation choices. -
Kitsunelaine [Beware. The foxgirls are coming.]01:01, 8 November 2015 (UTC)reply
Racist/not racist, doesn't matter - not relevant to this decision. The arguments for "roid" are stronger. I support changing it once protection expires. It should probably also be changed in related articles.

"I mean if you actually read the discussion I linked to, you'd know, so I'm not going to bother repeating everything they talked about here" - me just before. That aside? If you are so hellbent on trying to start up a debate again that has already been resolved months ago for literally no reason? I'll summarize it for you. There are more official sources for Buddyloid than there are anything else. -
Kitsunelaine 「Beware. The foxgirls are coming.」02:53, 8 November 2015 (UTC)reply
For Kamen Rider Drive those same "official sources" use "gord" when the word gold is clearly intended. They obviously don't care enough about the English enough to even check their spelling when an English word is being used unmodified. As I said in that thread you linked to, there are only two conclusions that can be made from their using Gord Drive. Either Bandai and TV-Asahi have lost the ability to consistently and accurately handle English translations properly over the last five years, or they should have never been treated as the end all be all source for this discussion. Why are those sources, Bandai and TV-Asahi, allowed to supersede an on-screen reference when they appear to not care about the correctness of their English at all? And if you truly believe that Bandai and TV-Asahi should act as indisputable official sources when it comes to English translation then why does
Kamen Rider Drive make no mention of a Gord Drive? Will you be the one to fix that error?

Didn't I already say the whole "You can't decide if the official translation is wrong" thing? Man, you're running in circles. Also, another thing covered in the linked thread? Which you clearly didn't read but are contesting for some reason? One on screen appearance doesn't supersede everything that came afterwards. -
Kitsunelaine 「Beware. The foxgirls are coming.」03:15, 8 November 2015 (UTC)reply
If that's the case, and Bandai and TV-Asahi should be held as the source for official translations, then shouldn't all instances of "Gold Drive" in
Kamen Rider Drive and
List of Kamen Rider Drive characters be replaced with "Gord Drive"? I'll gladly give up this argument if you are willing to fix that error in those pages. After all, if Bandai and TV-Asahi are official for one show then they should be official for the other, right?
