Is Jarema an alternative spelling of Jeremi? -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 23:35, 5 November 2005 (UTC)
Alternative spelling? No... It's just alternative version of the name, used for instance by his Ruthenian subjects. By the way, the article could be a little more objective. After all, he was not only a hangman, right? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bianconera ( talk • contribs) 19:41, 9 February 2007 (UTC).
I have translated the song by Jacek Kaczmarski, famous Polish singer and poet, about Jarema. See here.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 00:18, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Doesn't this article need a mention of the ruthless repression of Chmielnicki's uprising? -- Jec ( talk) 01:03, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
I would like to add something on it, but I couldn't even find a good cite for the claim that Jeremi tends to be portrayed negatively by it. Perhaps somebody with access to the Ukrainian sources will be able to improve this aspect of the article. -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 22:19, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
