can someone upload a better pic? -- DandanxD 05:52, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
i'm really getting confused by this "ga" business. What does that mean exactly? Anyway, I would consider relinking it to the proper dong, but i'm not sure exactly which dong that will be in the end since the list on the Jongno-gu page separates them kind of strangely. User:Appletrees knows best. I'll be patient I guess. DaronDierkes ( talk) 03:52, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
"Since the South Gate (Namdaemun) was set on fire on February 10, 2008, Dongdaemun is one of only two main gates that have survived, the other being the North Gate or Bukdaemun (more formally Sukjeongmun). One more minor gate known as Changuimun also still stands, bringing the total number of surviving gates to three. The West Gate (Seodaemun) was demolished earlier." This is not accurate. Other gates, such as HaeHwaMun and KwangHeeMun also exist. I'm delorting this whole paragraph. Eunsung ( talk) 13:25, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

WP:COMMONNAME, see
ngram. For non-regular observers, keep in mind that common name tends to outweigh "official names" on Wikipedia, hence
Cleopatra and not "Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator" for article title.
