Hi! I'm currently writing a stub on the Tottori Jōhoku High School and wondered if the Education task force had a viable website for student tournaments in Japan ? Mainly for the baseball part, but also sumo. OtharLuin ( talk) 12:36, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
I've added a source to this article just to get it sourced but as it stands it's a notability fail. The JP-language article lists a large number of sources but none of the ones I am able to review seems to sustain notability. However, this looks like it was a big-selling album so I'm thinking there must be sources out there for it in Japanese? Anyone know where they might be found? FOARP ( talk) 10:29, 6 March 2023 (UTC)

We have a few articles with titles containing Great Doctrine (大教, Taikyo) and they have different interpretations in all of them
I feel like we can do better with the titles to make all of them consistent, but I'm not sure how.
Currently they are all under their most commonly used names and what
Kokugakuin University translates them as on their website. But I think we can do better by putting them all in something consistent such as "Great Doctrine Institute" or "Great Doctrine Shinto".
Thoughts on this?

Does the principle of MOS:VAR apply to use of naming order? For example, if an article which mentions Japanese individuals was created using surname/given name order, is it OK for an editor to change that according to their interpretation of WP:JTITLE, even if by doing so they may appear to be "edit-warring over style, or enforcing optional style in a bot-like fashion without prior consensus" which " is never acceptable"? If that is OK, is there a reason why the flexibility permitted to varieties of English or dating systems can't be extended to naming orders? Thank you for your input. — CurryTime7-24 ( talk) 03:25, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which is within the scope of this WikiProject, has an RFC for possible consensus. A discussion is taking place. I'm very sorry to ask you this, but can you translate from Japanese to English the six pages on this site about Giant Baba's childhood. They're about his early life and I've search much to find them. You can write all in my talk page. Moreover, there are also more information about Rikidozan's family and early life that nobody had translate yet: 1, 2, 3. Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.181.182.147 ( talk) 09:41, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
