Where might I find a public record of statements made by a japanese criminal?

Trying to track down a public record version of the content in this book so I don't have to pay for it.

山口二矢供述調書: 社会党委員長浅沼稲次郎刺殺事件
ISBN-10
488656349X
ISBN-13
9784886563491

I dug through google with AND searches/quote searches for a while but couldn't find anything relevant. I know they have a public records act, but is it online? DarmaniLink ( talk) 04:04, 24 July 2023 (UTC) reply

What to do with references from original JP article in translation?

Hello — I am working on a translation of an article on a historical figure that exists only in Japanese. I am closely reviewing WP:TRANSLATE and WP:1ST as I do this, but I'm not finding any guidance on how to treat the sources in the original article. My current plan is to list all of them, with in-line references at the same locations, as foreign language sources for now. I doubt there are sufficient English sources for the details available in the Japanese sources, though I will look. Is there any problem with this approach? If anyone has any wisdom/experience to share here, please do. Thank you. Sushi725 ( talk) 16:29, 14 July 2023 (UTC) reply

It's perfectly fine to use foreign language sources. English is preferred, but not always available. So using the Japanese sources is okay. Not all readers being unable to understand the source isn't a valid reason against using it. Canterbury Tail talk 17:51, 14 July 2023 (UTC) reply
If you look at the article I created, Saisho Atsushi, almost all the sources are in Japanese. Typically you want to have at least one english source, but, all you really need is a single mention of the guy and you can shift things around to their perspective.
