Wikipedia:Vital articles/Level/2 is a reader-facing page intended for viewing by non-editors. Please prioritize their needs when adjusting its design, and move editor-facing elements to other pages. |
This section is pinned and will not be automatically archived. |
The purpose of this discussion page is to manage the Level 2 list of 100 topics for which Wikipedia should have high-quality articles (e.g. at WP:FA and WP:GA status). Since changes to this list affect lower-level lists, discussions regarding its composition are best initiated at Wikipedia talk:Vital articles.
All Level 2 nominations must be of an article already listed at level 3.
All proposals must remain open for !voting for a minimum of 15 days, after which:
Nominations should be left open beyond the minimum if they have a reasonable chance of passing. An informed discussion with more editor participation produces an improved and more stable final list, so be patient with the process.

Oceania contains less than 1% of the world's population in a similar way that we don't list Antarctica at this level. It also doesn't have a long, interesting history compared to the other five continents we list. Not sure what to swap it with, but maybe Continent would be a good option. I know it's a fairly recent industry, but Computer 2 is V2 and we're trying to promote Climate change 3. There's also no strong consensus over whether to keep its history at V3 (currently 3-4), and having the history of a topic at the same level as said topic is often frowned upon. I'll oppose for now.
