I have been planning thanking everyone who has participated in this RfA. I am grateful for all the comments and support, and even the criticisms, and want to express that. I had assumed the polite, and even expected, method was to thank participants on their talk pages. But per this thread on the RfA talk page I now realize that while some participants expect and appreciate "thank you" messages, others despise them and feel they are spam. So, I am stumped. I would like to thank everyone individually, and will do my best to determine who may not appreciate that sort of message. Do not feel you have to respond to this, but if you want to respond, either here or on the RfA talk page linked above, I'd be interested in your thoughts. - Kathryn NicDhàna ♫♦ ♫ 21:32, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Entirely Optional Question from the Candidate:
Yes, I like being thanked. Simply and tastefully.
Yes, I like being thanked. With bells and whistles and flashing lights! The more the better! Bring it ON!
No, please, no. Keep your godawful spam away from me. You're lucky I even !voted for you in the first place.
