Implications for educational technology Edit
Winn made significant contributions [citation needed] to the field of educational technology as evident by his extensive research in this area. The following is a list of eight suggestions provided by Winn (2002) for those researchers who are also working in this field, or for future researchers.[2] This list provides useful information[according to whom?] on how practitioners can reduce factors that may disrupt research findings and thus assist in improving educational technology research.
Instructors should not use metaphors that may confuse students or prevent them from understanding concepts. Computer learning environments yield greater results when conducted under a constructivist approach. Instructors should allow for mistakes and should not use virtual environments to teach basic facts. Educational technology is not a sufficient method for teaching. Educators should implement activities and other methods of communication into their lessons. Students must understand the task they have to accomplish and they require scaffolding to obtain their end goal. Educators must implement social context in the technology driven learning environment, and acknowledge sharing and collaboration amongst students. Educators should involve experts from the outside community in order to make their teaching effective. Educators should promote that the students make changes to their learning environment, as this will allow educators to obtain information about student learning. Educators, students, and researchers should work as a team since they all contribute to the improvement of educational technology research.

{{ stale}} This is an illustrated political satire which will help with articles about Tong Kee and Kalākaua. Only University of Oregon, UCLA, University of Hawaii, Brown and the University of Michigan seems to have it. If possible please scan and copy the entire manuscript with attention to both text and image illustration especially the second page after the titled "The Opium Racket". I intend to upload them onto the wikimedia commons since they are in the public domain and does not exist anywhere else online. Or whoever pick up this request can upload them there and just notify me, whichever method is easier.

Not sure whether its the release of Fall 1997 (I presume it is?), because google.books doesn't let me view almost anything in detail. Basically, I need the pages about the wifes/offspring of the Safavid kings Safi of Persia (r. 1629-1642), Abbas II of Persia (1642-1666), Suleiman I of Persia (r. 1666-1694), and Sultan Husayn (r. 1694-1722). According to google.books, it should be the listed pages.

In addition to their original publications, all of these articles are available through NewsLibrary.
I'd like to know whether there's enough info in these sources to display notability for A.J. Gil, the eighth place finalist in American Idol's first season. Gil used to have an article, which was deleted after an AfD, but only two people voted in the AfD - one to keep, and one to delete. So I may recreate the article, depending on how much info is available in these sources. -- Jpcase ( talk) 13:48, 13 September 2017 (UTC)

Hi everyone, my local library is not very good so I do not have access to this or any kind of inter-library loan. If anyone has access to this source, would you be able to look and see what source the author uses for the frontcover? In addition, if possible, the author, confirmation of the date it was taken, and any description provided; i.e. are these members of the Suffolk Regiment.
This is to aid the following wiki commons photo with source info etc:

I'm struggling to find proper sources for the history of this UK sheep breed. Does anyone have easy access to:
What I'd like to see is the Jacob entry in Mason (seems to be on page 830), and anything on iconography, history, use or characteristics of Jacob or piebald sheep in Ryder; in the old edition, that seems to include pages 274, 400, and 512; I don't have even snippet view of the 2007 edition, so don't know if the pagination is changed. As with other requests I've made, no-one should go to extraordinary lengths to find these for me. Thank you all! Justlettersandnumbers ( talk) 21:27, 9 June 2017 (UTC)

is something I often try, but in this case, no joy – I get the usual "page not available" message. But changing browser … who'd have thought that would work? Brilliant, many thanks! So now I have page 830, and find that I need page 829 as well … and not even changing browser will give me that.
