Welcome to WikiProject A Cappella! We're so glad you've decided to drop by. Our scope and goals out outlined below, if you've read those and would like to help, we welcome you to add yourself as a participant in the project! There are no experience requirements, although you are expected to conduct yourself politely. If you have any questions, please feel free to inquire on our talk page; we should have at least two editors with it on their watchlist, so you should get a prompt response. If you'd like to jump right in and help out, our open tasks are located here. Again, we're so glad you've decided to visit this page! Where important parts of a cappella's documentation are missing, we'll create articles. Where existing articles are of low quality, we'll improve them! This will be an excellent centralized resource for people to learn about a cappella. The quality of our articles will, in some small way, earn the respect of newcomers for the genre. As of January 2020, these are our proposed goals (in progress):
We need help making these goals actionable/measurable. Feel free to re-word/propose any! Articles we're actively working on can be found below in the section "Articles → Active collaborations". At the highest level, our aim is to refine and expand the documentation of a cappella on Wikipedia! This could include anything you like. Here are a few examples of subject areas that inspired the creation of the WikiProject:
And here are a few collections of articles highly likely to pertain to our WikiProject. There's a high degree of overlap between lists and their analogous categories. The number of pages in the list/category is accurate as of January 2020.
