If expanding the article is a possibility I'd certainly support it. Even better, I think, would be to create an article on Nahum Chandler, whose work seems to be at the centre of current uses of the term, and who presumably at least acknowledges Becker. @ BD2412: I like the idea, but can't see an easy way of accommodating the idea in Cultural references to donkeys. Nonetheless, my draft DAB feels like disambiguation between examples of a concept rather than titles.

There's also " Der Kuckuck und der Esel" (a singing contest between a cuckoo and a donkey) and the folk song "Lob des hohen Verstandes" ( transl. "In Praise of High Intellect", a singing competition between a cuckoo and a nightingale in which the cuckoo disingenuously proposed a donkey as arbiter). The latter poem was included by Achim and Brentano in their collection Des Knaben Wunderhorn, and was set to music by Gustav Mahler in his song collection also called Des Knaben Wunderhorn.
