Delete as these redirects make no sense. The target is a different person (their son and brother), and no other element about Ioannis's or Panagiotis's biography is present in the target article.

All three individuals have separate articles on el Wikipedia:

This redirect needs to be freed up so that someone someday can write the article on the 18th century song used to drum a soldier out of his company. That song predates this album by 200 years, and should be reserved for its inevitable article, whenever someone takes a shot at writing it. I realize the article namespace can exist as a redirect as long as we let it and redirect to the band, but I think it is more appropriate to simply delete it and await the real thing rather than retain a redirect as though it were somehow definitive. The album is named after the 18th century tune. Let's free it up for that purpose. • Keep. A google search for "Baties" "Bates College" makes it clear that this is used to refer to people from Bates College, e.g. "My older son is a music major at Bates College and sings in. The Deansmen a Cappella group. He plays lead guitar in a band with other Baties...". Thryduulf ( talk) 10:34, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply

With all of the slashes, I am not seeing how this is a likely search term. Steel1943 ( talk) 07:08, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Comment this is a redirect with a significant history. It started as an article listing "minor villains on the animated series Codename: Kids Next Door who have only appeared once or a few times." but it was boldly redirected by an IP in 2005 [1], intially to List of minor antagonists in Codename: Kids Next Door, a target which has gone through a series a mergers and now exists only as Codename: Kids Next Door#Characters, although each merge appears to have been done boldly rather than after discussion a quick look doesn't suggest this has been controversial at any stage. Thryduulf ( talk) 10:50, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply
    • When I was looking at the redirect's history, I noticed that it seemed to be an article for two weeks in 2005 prior to being boldly redirected. But then, a few months later, another editor added an incorrect WP:AFD tag since the page was a redirect. For this reason in this specific case, I do not completely see a reason to retain the page's edit history, especially considering that all of this happened about 12 years ago. However, if the page history needs to be retained, it can be moved to a different title. Steel1943 ( talk) 14:27, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Delete per nom. Implausible search term that has outlived any usefulness since there aren't multiple character articles for this show as with The Simpsons and there's nothing that shows they need the slash delimiter. The result of the discussion was Move without a redirect to Forever (Maggie Stiefvater novel) and retarget to The Wolves of Mercy Falls. Ruslik_ Zero 20:25, 11 September 2017 (UTC) reply

Delete as implausible. WP:BOOKDAB recommends using the author's surname, not forename. -- Tavix ( talk) 03:40, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Keep. 35 page views last year shows this is not implausible. WP:BOOKDAB tells Wikipedia editors the recommended way to title articles, we cannot expect readers to know such a recommendation exists let alone know what it says. Thryduulf ( talk) 10:57, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Don't keep—retarget to The Wolves of Mercy Falls, if anything, where the novel is discussed more in detail. This seems wrong, since I don't think Maggie Stiefvater is professionally referred to as "Maggie" alone. But lacking ambiguity, and given that "Maggie" alone certainly could refer to her in a general sense, I'm a bit torn. -- BDD ( talk) 14:23, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Retarget to The Wolves of Mercy Falls and Rename to Forever (Maggie Stiefvater novel) so that the full name of the author can show up in the search. Otherwise it's like Romeo and Juliet (William play). There's really only one notable William but it doesn't serve anyone to keep a search like that. AngusWOOF ( barksniff) 19:25, 24 August 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Move (without leaving a redirect) and retarget per AngusWOOF. There's considerable leeway when it comes to redirects with natural language titles, but if the disambiguator is a parenthetical, then at least a modicum of adherence to article title standards is expected. – Uanfala 10:42, 8 September 2017 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was delete. Consensus is that the current target is unlikely. This is without prejudice against recreation in some other form, whether that be as a redirect to a different target, a disambiguation page, or an article. -- Tavix ( talk) 22:40, 10 September 2017 (UTC) reply

A redirect from one band to a song, where the target song's only mention of the redirect band is because they remixed it. Seems unlikely to be a reasonable search result. Primefac ( talk) 01:45, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Keep. Why wouldn't it be reasonable? They're remixers, it's their job to remix songs. Apparently, these musicians are only notable for remixing that particular song. {{R with possibilities}} could be used for categorization, as they could become articles in the future. — Za wl 20:28, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply
  • These may need to be re-nominated separately, but here are my suggestions. For Goldhouse, I think we should consider making a disambiguation page at Gold house or Gold House, as GOLDHOUSE targets Middle of the Night (song) and this term could potentially refer to similar terms like The Gold Houses or Golden House (a redirect that targets Domus Aurea). For Brohug, we should Retarget that to Pound hug as the primary topic. I have no opinion on the rest. -- Notecardforfree ( talk) 21:01, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply
    • I can get behind both offered retargets, and would be willing to set up Gold house as a dab. Primefac ( talk) 01:44, 24 August 2017 (UTC) reply
      • Thanks Primefac, that would be fantastic. -- Notecardforfree ( talk) 15:26, 24 August 2017 (UTC) reply
        • Middle of the Night has the same issue as There For You as it has a collection of random mixers on a virtual album which has no charting results or any reviews of the particular mixes. I'd also be wary of bands that appear in random festivals, cruise ship lineups, and so forth. AngusWOOF ( barksniff) 17:16, 25 August 2017 (UTC) reply
          • Yeah, upon further reflection, it may be best to just delete these (except Brohug, which I still think we should retarget to pound hug). A DAB page at gold house might still be useful for other titles though. -- Notecardforfree ( talk) 18:49, 28 August 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Delete all per WP:NMUSIC and WP:GARAGEBAND. Unless the mixer's particular track has been specifically reviewed by RS'es, there's no reason to keep a collection of mixers because they appeared on a virtual album. Also there is nothing that indicates the remixes album itself has any charting results to indicate it is notable. It appears all the charts provided on that article are for the single track. AngusWOOF ( barksniff) 19:32, 24 August 2017 (UTC) reply
Gold house might be okay. I see a reference to Acido Dorado gold house by Robert_Stone_(architect) and a song by Reese (rapper) (Reese Laflare), but I have to watch out for the garage band / soundcloud aspect. There's also House of Gold as a dab article. AngusWOOF ( barksniff) 20:01, 24 August 2017 (UTC) reply
Delete as absurd- If the only thing the band did was remix one song, they are not notable enough to warrant a redirect. If they did other things, then there is no way that their name should redirect to a song they remixed. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 17:47, 25 August 2017 (UTC) reply

That's fine. There's nothing saying you cannot write an article on a previously deleted redirect. Primefac ( talk) 14:20, 5 September 2017 (UTC) reply

This one is ridiculous. There's no mention of any form of religion at the target, so someone can't even figure out how many people aren't Hindu (probably all of them). Religion in Easter Island doesn't exist, nor any other specific religions. -- Tavix ( talk) 01:05, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply

Looking through those 60 mentions, I'd say about half point unambiguously to New York City, a few each to Nova Iorque and New York (state), and the rest are unclear. That's not too dissimilar from the usage of "New York" in English. Certes ( talk) 16:15, 26 August 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Comment - I plan on writing articles on these redirects in the near future. These are reasonable as {{R to list entry}}, {{R to related topic}} or {{R with possibilities}}. — Za wl 14:22, 4 September 2017 (UTC) reply
That's fine. There's nothing saying you cannot write an article on a previously deleted redirect. Primefac ( talk) 14:20, 5 September 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Delete. This is taking the creation of redirects to insanity levels. It's bad enough we have one or two editors creating redirects for every track on an album, but now this? We have a search function at WP which does this far better than human editors with points to make. ie. [ search for Madison Mars]. -- Richhoncho ( talk) 12:02, 10 September 2017 (UTC) reply

Previous RfDs for this redirect and similar redirects:

This one is ridiculous. There's no mention of any form of religion at the target, so someone can't even figure out how many people aren't Hindu (probably all of them). Religion in Easter Island doesn't exist, nor any other specific religions. -- Tavix ( talk) 01:05, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Delete. We have no information on this topic anywhere that I can find. Given that Hinduism in South America#Chile notes that there are very few Hindus in the country and implies that there is only 1 temple in the country (in Punta Arenas, over 4,000 km (2,500 mi) away and about as far as it's possible to get from Easter Island in Chile) it is unlikely that the topic is significant at all. Yes, I know, nova = "new" in Latin (see Wiktionary:Nova#Latin). But I don't think this is common term used to refer to the city, state, or any other entry at the target disambiguation page. Delete.  —  Mr. Guye ( talk) ( contribs)  14:38, 9 August 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Keep - although not linked, the term is used in 60 articles and someone may want to look it up. Certes ( talk) 10:42, 10 August 2017 (UTC) reply
  • retarget to Nova Iorque which is commonly transliterated to "Nova York"— that's what most of the hit are for. Mangoe ( talk) 13:39, 10 August 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Disambiguate, sometimes seems to refer to New York, sometimes to Nova Iorque. — Kusma ( t· c) 15:44, 23 August 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Retarget to Nova Iorque. It's Portuguese here, not Latin. The New York (state) / New York City dab is handled already at Nova Iorque. Power~enwiki ( talk) 18:37, 24 August 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Delete and clean up any uses in articles. These are articles that had text copied from other languages and have not been fully translated. This is still the English Wikipedia, isn't it? (And I don't buy the comment that Nova Iorque is "commonly transliterated to 'Nova York'" -- Portuguese is written in the Latin alphabet, so it is not "transliterated" into English at all.) -- R'n'B ( call me Russ) 13:51, 26 August 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Keep. pt:Nova Iorque (= New York City) – "Nova Iorque ou Nova York...". pt:Nova Iorque (estado) (= New York (state) – "Nova Iorque ou Nova York...". It's clearly (1) a search term which a Portuguese speaker might use, and (2) as ambiguous in Portuguese as in English. Narky Blert ( talk) 18:38, 2 September 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Keep per Certes. The term is used enough on the English Wikipedia that it might be a useful search term, with New York being the correct target. I'll add Nova Iorque to the see also. -- Tavix ( talk) 18:16, 4 September 2017 (UTC) reply
