Reason: 1) I wish to take steps to prevent any possibility of an impression (among co-editors) that I might have ANY kind of agenda in my editing (such as zen buddhism or spirituality in general), so that my edits are sure be judged ONLY on their merits. It is only human nature for editors' evaluation of other people's edits to be influenced - even if mildly and/or unconsciously - by their perceptions about that person's background and interests. To claim otherwise is naive or disingenuous. 2) I want my username to represent the personal values I use to edit Wikipedia... 3)...Rather than any one set of values or beliefs, or group of people of any kind. Because that is how I do approach editing on here: I go through a specific mental process each time to check my motivations and factors that could be influencing me. (Having been a full-time journalist on a quality newspaper, I now do this out of habit.) I feel my initial choice of username was rather naive! For my actual background, please see

You need to follow these steps exactly: 1) Log out of your account here. 2) Go to your
talk page on Commons. 3) Login to your Atlantic 1919 account there by clicking on the Log in link at the to right of the page. 4) Go back to your
talk page on Commons. 5) Post a message in English on your talk page on Commons. 6) Logout of your account there (this is very, very important). 7) Come back here to English Wikipedia. 8) Login to your Madrid 2020 account here and post here that you've posted the English message there. 9) Logout of your Madrid 2020 account here and wait for the username to be changed. Once you can see here that it has been changed, login using the Atlantic 1919 username and the password you had for Madrid 2020. ···

Too difficult and bureaucratic to do. I hereby change my request to Pacific 1818.

Reason: The previous username resembles my real name too closely. Therefore would like to change it to something less conspicous.

For my actual background, please see
my profile page. Thanks so much.

Reason: I wish to maintain anonymity and my existing username is no longer anonymous when taken in conjunction with the articles I edit which provide clues to my identity.

Reason: Might be seen as conflict of interest, I don't represent the company, I'm just a big fan.

Reason: Having problems with cyrillic letters on my computer, the new username is the phonetic equivalent of the cyrillic letters in greek alphabet.

Bureaucrat note: Did you really want your username to be in ALL CAPS, or was your caps lock key stuck in the "on" position? Please clarify your request. Thanks! ···
