The result of the discussion was: merge to Category:Fictional element redirects. Good Ol’factory (talk) 01:09, 27 November 2020 (UTC) reply
Nominator's rationale: I also propose moving all members of the category to Category:Fictional element redirects. While this is a maintenance and tracking category, I think WP:OCMISC applies here. Anything in this category should just be in the parent category. What makes this case unique compared to the other "miscellaneous redirects" categories I found (e.g. Category:Miscellaneous video game character redirects to lists) is that the parent category is not listed as a container category, so we won't know to worry too much about de-containerization. The subcategories should also be moved, seeing how franchise/work-based subcategories as such also appear in Category:Fiction redirects and Category:Fictional location redirects. - BRAINULATOR9 ( TALK) 21:55, 16 November 2020 (UTC) reply

Nominator's rationale: Per previous discussions, "landmark" is subjective and not objective - it is not clear what is eligible for inclusion in this category. All of these were buildings or structures and I have just made sure they have been cross-categorised in Category:Demolished buildings and structures in Italy, making this redundant to boot. SportingFlyer T· C 18:02, 16 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Support as long as (as you say) they are all in the equivalent buildings and structures cat. Grutness... wha? 03:52, 17 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Support, the term "landmark" may locally have significance e.g. in places in Australia and the United States, but that certainly is not relevant for non-English speaking countries. Marcocapelle ( talk) 05:06, 17 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Support landmark may or may not have a locally defined meaning, destroyed is often in the eye of the beholder. When one views the remains of ancient Rome, is "in ruins" or "partially destroyed" equivalent to "destroyed"? Reliable sources exist counting the Colosseum and Roman Forum among Rome's ruins (just google "ruins in Rome"). Carlossuarez46 ( talk) 23:55, 19 November 2020 (UTC) reply

Category:Christian church councils by holder

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more categories. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the category's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was: merge. There seemed to be general agreement that further nominations may be in order. Good Ol’factory (talk) 01:04, 27 November 2020 (UTC) reply
Nominator's rationale: Those two categories seem to have a complete conceptual overlap. I have no preference which is a better title to retain (holder seems more clear to an average reader, probably). We don't have 'by holder' or 'by acceptance' parent category trees to default to. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:17, 16 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Keep but rename I agree that "holder" is quite awkward. What about "convener" or "convening body"? You do not have to have convene a council in order to accept it. Laurel Lodged ( talk) 10:40, 16 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Merge to parent category. There are only three subcategories, they fit easily in the parent. Also nominate the whole tree of Category:Christian church councils by acceptance as that causes too much category clutter in a number of councils. Marcocapelle ( talk) 20:48, 16 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Merge but the tree should be cleaned as many early councils are in too many categories and should be left in the first seven category, which is a subcat of the accepting sects of those which accept the first seven. Carlossuarez46 ( talk) 23:57, 19 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Merge per nom -- If kept, rename to "by denomination" or "by church". Peterkingiron ( talk) 17:05, 22 November 2020 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was: rename. Good Ol’factory (talk) 01:05, 27 November 2020 (UTC) reply
Nominator's rationale: Clickteam is a company that develops game engines. However, "Clickteam (game engine) games" suggest that the games in this category are using an engine called "Clickteam", which is incorrect. All games currently in the category use the company's Clickteam Fusion (formerly Multimedia Fusion), so the category should be renamed to reflect that instead. Nominator's rationale: WP:NONDEFINING ( WP:OCAWARD)
This category for receiving the Order of the Star of Italy only contains Ankie Broekers-Knol, a Dutch politician who is not remotely defined by the award. Future recipients are also likely to be foreign officials since the stated purpose of the award is the "promotion of national prestige abroad, promoting friendly relations and co-operation with other countries and ties with Italy". I don't know if I can say I "listified" the recipients since there is only 1 article but it is now linked in the main article. - RevelationDirect ( talk) 00:21, 16 November 2020 (UTC) reply

Nominator's rationale: Per WP:NONDEFINING ( WP:OVERLAPCAT and WP:OCAWARD)
The stated purpose of the Hero of Labor (Vietnam) is to honor outstanding achievements in production and work. It is confusing then that the category consists mostly of Soviet cosmonauts who are already well categorized under Category:Soviet cosmonauts. (There are also two Vietnamese biographies in the category— 1 & 2—where one mentions it in the lede and the other not at all so it not consistently defining for them either.)
