John Pack Lambert (

Rename. I'm not as familiar with writings on this territory as I am with Utah Territory and some others, but it's my sense that per common usage, "the" may be—but is just as often not—used before the names of historical U.S. territories. Most of the categories for other territories do not include the "the", so I support removing it in this case, because it makes sense to me to have a standard which is applied in the same way for U.S. territory categories. (I'm open to more information if a user can demonstrate that the "the" is used in an overwhelming majority of cases in which this particular territory is referred to in reliable sources.)
