Fails WP:GNG; not seeing a whole lot of WP:SIGCOV. JTtheOG ( talk) 05:30, 24 September 2022 (UTC) reply

  • Keep - Julitha Singano is a player for the Tanzania women's national football team and FC Juárez (women). She also played for Simba Queens where she won three league titles. If the article is kept I would add more sources to improve it. Dannyphx ( talk) 00:48, 25 September 2022 (UTC) reply
If you want the article to be kept, please share sources in this discussion. It's not enough for someone to have represented a team or won league titles, they need to be the subject of significant coverage in reliable sources. For example, two articles from newspapers or websites about the subject would probably be enough. MarchOfTheGreyhounds ( talk) 13:27, 26 September 2022 (UTC) reply
Here are some sources I found about Julitha Singano when she played for Simba Queens in Tanzania. [1] [2] [3] Dannyphx ( talk) 03:40, 27 September 2022 (UTC) reply
Unfortunately, none of these sources address the subject directly and in detail. JTtheOG ( talk) 01:06, 4 October 2022 (UTC) reply
  • Keep - Per Dannyphx. This perfectly fine article was created today and is already nominated for deletion which is ridiculous. Clearly significant figure in Tanzania women;s and international football with ongoing career, and one of few ever to play professionally and abroad, in North America. I found many Tanzanian sources (searching "Julietha Singano"), especially on YouTube. Keep in mind Tanzania has very little coverage on women's football but she has some coverage. Article needs improvement, not deletion. Thanks, Das osmnezz ( talk) 01:42, 25 September 2022 (UTC) reply
  • Delete - Fails GNG. I found a lot of mentions but no SIGCOV. Dougal18 ( talk) 13:48, 25 September 2022 (UTC) reply
  • Delete - no evidence of notability. If sources are found please ping me. Giant Snowman 16:35, 26 September 2022 (UTC) reply
  • Delete . Not seeing the significant coverage here. Ping me if you've got it. MarchOfTheGreyhounds ( talk) 19:04, 26 September 2022 (UTC) reply
  • Delete or draftify. SIGCOV needs to be in the article for it to be in mainspace. From my own search for "Juli(e)tha Singano" I only found passing mentions and very brief announcements of her move to the Bravas. [4], [5], [6] JoelleJay ( talk) 23:11, 26 September 2022 (UTC) reply
  • Draftify - Article fails WP:GNG, but I think with some time it is possible SIGCOV will be available. She gets lots of passing mentions in Liga MX Femenil coverage, and stuff like this suggests she is viewed as an important new signing so I think we can expect this article could pass WP:SPORTBASIC in the future. • Draftify - every single source brought into this discussion is only a trivial mention of Singano. Subject is still relatively young and plays in a league that gets good coverage so could pass GNG in the future. Spiderone (Talk to Spider) 10:54, 8 October 2022 (UTC) reply
