This evening, I completed an article that was in a user space (User:Captaincorgi/Brenda Jean Patrick) and moved it to Brenda Jean Patrick. I did so after (1) removing sections of the text that had been questioned by a reviewer; (2) fixing the references using the appropriate Wikipedia format; and (3) adding five links--one related to the subject herself, two to the issue of customer service (within Wikipedia) and two to the issue of customer service in schools.
What will happen next?

I have written a new article about Dr Brian Smith, an innovative thinker and prolific author in the field of Marketing Strategy. I'd appreciate any suggestions and help, especially improving the format, references, links etc. as this is the first article I've written. I also think it would be helpful to upload a couple of pictures - one of Smith and one of "Smith's Wheel" mentioned in the article - but I don't know how. Finally, have I got the references and external links correct?

I've written a new article about Dr Brian Smith, an innovative thinker and prolific author in the field of Marketing Strategy. I'd appreciate help in getting it right, in particular formatting, references and external links, as this is my first article. I also have two images that I think would be useful to upload - one is a picture of Smith, another is an image of "Smith's Wheel" that is mentioned in the article.
Help appreciated. Thanks Wickie Bruce ( talk) 13:15, 13 January 2010 (UTC) Wickie Bruce 13/Jan/2010
Smith is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and was formerly International Vice Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and is also cited in other academic papers. His research has influenced academic thinking in the field of Strategic Marketing at a number of different academic institutions although he is not employed by any of them. So, I think, it's safe to say Smith is notable in his field.
My next questions are practical - how to amend the article to reflect this? And how to make the article 'live'? -- Wickie Bruce ( talk) 11:28, 26 January 2010 (UTC) Wickie Bruce

Hi,
This is my first article for Wikipedia and I would be grateful for any general comments.
Also any information about how dry rot is treated outside the UK would be useful as my information sources are rather UK-centric.
EricPolymath ( talk) 14:18, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
Don’t bother as this article has been removed!
My request for constructive comments and more information has led to my work being rejected and searches in Wikipedia for information on dry rot being redirected to another much less detailed and, in some places, rather inaccurate, article. There was no attempt at any discussion with me about any improvements that I could make to my article before its removal and no interest has been shown in resolving the situation since.
I find it surprising that, when faced with such arrogance and lack of courtesy by the editors that anyone bothers to write for Wikipedia at all.

WIKIPEDIA To whom it may concern:
I am a naturalized (1962) US citizen. A veteran of the USAF 1962-1965. I have a BA from UCLA in German 1969, and an MA from UCLA 1972 Theater Arts, major in TV and Radio.
I was born in Braunschweig, Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) in 1940. To realize that those who cared for me as a baby, saved me through one of the greatest bombings in/of WWII, both by British and US bombers, comes both as shock and utter amazement to me.
I would be interested in adding a written addendum (essay) to the above headline. Sort of a "baby-infant" viewpoint of my very first memories of life of someone who was born in Braunschweig 4 years before the "Bombing of Braunschweig Oct. 1944."
Would Wikipedia be interested in my POV (point of view), of such an essay as addendum to the above headline; or just the British and US military records of that bombing?
If Wkipedia is interested in my POV essay, please instruct me in how and where to send my written work, please contact me here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:C4162/James_Duke_Mason
Please consider my request. If you approve, I will, as the administrator told me to, "use WP:RM to get it moved OR". And don't even try to use the argument that he's only notable because of his parents and therefore can't be included on Wikipedia. Look at Frances Bean Cobain's page- she got no accomplishments whatsoever, and yet is also included on Wikipedia.
As I posted before, and which you deleted:

Please consider my request. If you approve, I will, as the administrator told me to, "use WP:RM to get it moved OR". And don't even try to use the argument that he's only notable because of his parents and therefore can't be included on Wikipedia. Look at Frances Bean Cobain's page- she got no accomplishments whatsoever, and yet is also included on Wikipedia.
As I posted before, and which you deleted:
