  Why should it redirect there instead of to the collection of schools of thought that Confucianism was part of in its formative era? I think Hundred Schools of Thought would be a better target, and it seems very odd to retarget this to a section that only discusses the 17th century and later. Even Confucianism#History seems at least as relevant as Confucianism#Influence, as it discusses the relationships between Confucianism and other Chinese schools of thought including Chinese Buddhism. I doubt we'll come to consensus about what target makes the most sense; it's a case of WP:XY with no available target that's really appropriate. — Mx. History lesson: Way way way back in the day (2005), this was a disambiguation page and I moved it to Gaius Julius Caesar (disambiguation) to follow proper naming conventions. Later on, that got moved to Gaius Julius Caesar, but in February 2021, GJC got turned into a redirect to Julius Caesar and the disambiguation page was recreated at the place where I moved it to in the first place. And that's all wrong because now a history merge needs to be done (courtesy ping to Avilich, who did the cut-paste move). There's definitely some questionable decision making when it comes to how disambiguation/prosopography pages in CGR have been split/merged/moved over the years, but that shouldn't affect this redirect—even if "others" were a valid disambiguator, it'd be parenthetical. The only people who would search using a disambiguator are other Wikipedia editors, and they'd use parentheses. • Let's add a brief mention at List of Stargate SG-1 characters#Asgard and point there. As it happens, I recently watched all of Stargate SG-1 and can confirm this is a very minute piece of trivia—AfD would be an enormous waste of time.
