It's no more an incorrect spelling than any other that differs only in the omission of diacritics, so {{ R from incorrect spelling}} is not relevant here. How many incorrect things make nonsense depends entirely on how they are incorrect and the plausibility of the differences - and as with every redirect it is up to the person wanting to change the status quo to demonstrate that the change is beneficial to the encyclopaedia. In this instance all lower case without diacritics makes a very plausible search term, meaning deletion would make it harder for readers to find the topic they are looking for and so keeping brings the greatest benefit to the project. Deleting the redirect would not, for any practical purpose, make it harder for a reader to find the article, however they decided to search. Since it's now quite hard to do an "exact terms" search (even Google with the "verbatim" option selected does not actually believe you and only return verbatim results). All its presence does is burden editors with the task of keeping them synchronised, and adds an opportunity for mistaken (accidental) linking that would be reduced were the redirect not to exist in. The result of the discussion was move Čapek (surname) to Čapek and retarget the other two there. This closure is a bit nuanced. I read from below that we basically need to decide on two questions:

First, is Karel sufficiently strong a primary topic to have the surname titles redirect to him? Comments below based on Google hits make a strong case on one hand but conformity with other Wikipedias, especially those of Slavic languages, make a strong case on another. The argument about pageviews depends on how you look at the data and doesn't go strongly either way. On the whole, we seem to be heading towards a rough consensus towards not making Karel the primary topic.

The second question is, then, what is the best disambiguation solution? From the comments later on in this discussion, retitling the existing disambiguation page to the base title seems to be the best solution as it achieves disambiguation of all topics named "Čapek" and conformity with other Wikipedias. No, but what applies to Čapek may or may not apply to Chapek and Capek. The Google results tell me that Karel is also the primary topic for "Capek" and the secondmost common for "Chapek" - the first being Walt Disney executive Bob Chapek who we don't have an article about (and at first glance he probably isn't notable enough for an article), so I maintain my reccomendation. As for synchronisation, I have not proposed that these three redirects should always point to the same place, nor do I think they should as while they should all target Karel Čapek at the moment that might change in future (e.g. if Bob Chapek does get an article). • Delete. Čapek should not go to one particular one when we have Čapek (surname). Typing in without the mark is what most will do and is already covered by the redirect Capek (surname). The single word redirect gives it primacy over the fully functional one. There is some argument for redirecting Chapek to Čapek (surname). • Keep. As seen here, Karel by far eclipses in popularity all the other relevant pages. Further, Capek and Čapek together have more than twice the amount of hits of Čapek (surname). This means that out of all people searching for C/Čapek and not clicking Karel Čapek in the drop down menu, the majority still doesn't proceed further than Karel Čapek's page. No, that's putting the cart before the horse. We can't make assumptions on whether, when a redirect takes someone somewhere, that's where they wanted to go. They may have just given up, or searched a different way, when they go to Karel. It doesn't mean that Karel is the primary topic for Capek or Chapek: that's not his surname. • We seem to be the outlier in assigning a primary topic, virtually every other language Wikipedia puts the surname (dab) at the base title. I see the argument for page-views, though you should look at all the others combined before making a judgment. In their native language, page-views for the brother are closer. Given they get equal billing in Brothers Čapek and in the museum in Malé Svatoňovice, I'm inclined to say there should not be a primary topic, in deference to the artist brother. Delete. From the WP:FIRSTSENTENCE of the target: "The English word "novella" derives from the Italian novella". So this plural is, er, WP:RFD#D8 novella obscure synonym. It's OK as a Latin plural, but then it just means novels. But in the articles where it's actually used, it's in a very specific sense defined here at Hebrew Union College's reference on Rabbinic literature.

So, three articles use "novellæ": Simha of Speyer, Elijah Spira and Ezra Malki. Five use "novellae": Rabbeinu Tam, Philip Wodianer, Moshe Schick, Meir Abulafia and Pinhas Hirschprung. In each case it's about Jewish/Talmudic scholarship and directing people to Novella is just wrong. We should probably WP:REDLINK it as WP:RFD#D2 confusing. • comment. According to [2] this means "Place of the buffalo" and is the name of Buffalo, New York in at least one Native American language, however it is not clear which one. The site is operated by the Coeur d'Alene people, but as they speak one of the Salishan languages which our article indicates extended no further east than about Montana pre-European contact it seems unlikely to be their name. The site indicates that it collates data from "various government and official sources" but I can't find any indication of which sources these are for the native names and so I am uncertain about its reliability as a source. If this is an actual name for Buffalo in a Native American language spoken in the area then I would say that WP:FORRED would point to keeping this, however it would suggest deletion if the language has little or no connection with the area. Not sure. It's not mention at the target and it could be easily {{ confused}} with Acadian French or even Cajun language (which → Cajun French). We have Acadian (disambiguation) so it might be better to retarget it there, but there may be better targets I haven't found. It's perhaps WP:XY but I don't think any good would come of deleting it. It's quite old (2009) but nothing links to it and it hasn't been edited/retargeted since, so it doesn't seem particularly a controversial target (slightly to my surprise). Its hits are never more than 2 a day, 69 in the last year, well below bot level. Perhpas just let it stand as {{ R from incorrect spelling}}? (I'll tag it that, for now, without prejudice.) • Delete. This redirect started life as an article about the same topic as the target, with the first sentence "Some at the Beforeitsnews.com are also fans of the Shen Yun Performing Arts." This makes me strongly suspect the "BIN-" refers to "beforeitsnews.com" (an apparently non-notable website), and also makes me wonder whether it was a copyright violation (a cursory search didn't immediately find a source, but this was not conclusive either way).
