Original - Adult specimen of Agalychnis callidryas displaying its bright side markingsEdit 2 - A different crop into 4:3, else same as Edit 1 by
Mfield
Reason
High resolution (6 megapixel), encyclopedic image of Agalychnis callidryas. DOF isn't perfect, but lots of wow factor. Not currently featured anywhere, as far as I know.
Support Face is a minor annoyance but diffused enough so as not to distract

Support Edit1Edit 2 Added Edit 1 to address problem of distracting faces in background and slight selective sharpen on frog as well.

I def. like how you removed the faces and the other improvements, but I liked when the frog was at the center of the photo. Perhaps some of the left should be cropped as well.

I think he was trying to preserve the original aspect ratio (2:3). I would suggest either being less severe with the crop or changing to a 3:4 aspect ratio.

Here you go - Edit 2 is 4:3, I think I prefer it too.

Support edit 2 The composition, the use of color, the detail, and the encyclopedic content makes it a good FP.
