Article contains no sources that indicate notability, and I'm unable to locate any, particularly those saying that he was the Chief Rabbi of Basel, Switzerland. I think his son Rabbi Benzion Snyders exists or existed according to a PDF [1]. TheGGoose ( talk) 20:26, 29 August 2015 (UTC) reply

  • Delete. No sources and no claim to notability. No reason this should be on WP. -- Cagepanes ( talk) 21:09, 29 August 2015 (UTC) reply

  • Weak delete. He would be notable if we could verify his position as Chief Rabbi of Basel, but after an extensive online search, I am unable to find anything about him except this eulogy from 1985 in German. There could be more German-language sources, but I am unable to translate them. The page name should probably be Jakob Snyders. Yoninah ( talk) 09:05, 30 August 2015 (UTC) reply
  • Delete. Not verifiable. I searched for sources in German but found none.  Sandstein  09:17, 30 August 2015 (UTC) reply
