Does not appear to meet WP:GNG, while there's a fair number of hits on Google Scholar and Books, the vast majority are simply from descriptions of the plot of Ring and related media, which don't confer notability. There's also a few papers, such as these two, that do give some analysis of the subject's role. I considered trying to rescue this article using these sources, but after examining them carefully, I'm of the opinion that they're only analyzing Reiko Asakawa in the context of readings of Ring and related media's views on femininity, and said content would be better included in the context of The Ring (franchise) and articles about its entries. There is no discussion of Reiko's significance in popular culture, and even the most detailed analysis, "Patriarchy and the Horror of the Monstrous Feminine: A comparative study of Ringu and The Ring", Reiko is treated primarily as a foil to Sadako Yamamura. As we fall short of GNG, redirect to The Ring (franchise) seems appropriate. signed, Rosguill talk 22:44, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
