The subject likely falls short of both
WP:NGRIDIRON and
WP:SIGCOV. A previous PROD was declined last month by article creator.

Delete my online search did not produce any promising results, and the sources in the article do not seem to be independent. Therefore, I believe this subject fails
WP:GNG.--

Delete. Fails
WP:NGRIDIRON (did not play pro ball) and
WP:NCOLLATH (no major awards, records -- D2 All-American doesn't do it), and
WP:GNG (not finding the
WP:SIGCOV needed). I did find some short blurbs (e.g.,
this,
this and
this) but nothing that reaches the GNG standard. Also some coverage from his high school playing career, e.g.,
this, but I discount such coverage per
WP:YOUNGATH.

A further search turned up
this piece of SIGCOV. If additional SIGCOV is brought forward, I will keep an open mind.

Delete, albeit weakly. In addition to
this source noted by
Cb162, we'd need another source. I've been looking, and while I found out that he had a
acting career, and I can find newspaper clippings
from his high school days and
on the fact that he tried out and
signed with the Texans, but I can't yet find enough significant coverage to satisfy
WP:BASIC. After Visser was
Waived in 2009, there's almost zero coverage of him in newspapers archived by newspapers.com and those available on google search. I'm left to conclude that he's probably not notable, though another source (or two) might be able to change my mind. —

Delete per above. The person never played in the NFL. LSGH (

BeanieFan -- Your uncertainty about the sources is valid. Items published by Visser's college, the school newspaper, and the conference in which his school is a dues-paying member are not considered "independent" and thus are not given weight in the GNG analysis. Note also that the GLIAC item states that the content originates with "FSU Athletics Communications Department" -- thus clearly not independent.

Delete, not enough to meet GNG in my opinion.

Delete. Per all above, not notable per
WP:GNG or any of the relevant athlete-specific criteria. --Kinut/c 21:30, 21 November 2021 (UTC)reply
